    I leased a 2020 Acura TLX back in Nov 2019. My lease is due to expire this Nov 2022. The problem I was having, the car would shake on me, then it would die off. After restarting it back up and I pressed on the gas, it wouldn't move. It's like it didn't have any power. The lights that came on was, 'electric parking brake ******************* system problem.' I have brought my car in back in August of 2021, and then again in December 2021. Then again in April 2022. They had it for about 3 months. I have brought it back again in August of this year, and they've had it ever since. I call them and asked them to communicate but they do not call me back or return my phone calls or texts. I told them that it's a lemon car.

    To whom it may concern:

     

    I received your letter today dated 11/7/22 about a complaint from ******************************

     

    We have been in contact with this customer and her ex-husband per her request, since the issues began.  We have been working with ******** ************************ and their tech department on this matter.  This vehicle is covered under warranty and we have been working on a solution with the factory.  

     

    The customer has been in a loaner vehicle since her vehicle was brought into service.  We have offered to end her lease several times, yet she has refused.  She could extend her lease or walk away if she chose to.  Acura of Maui has even reimbursed her for payments even though this is not our fault. We do not build the vehicles, we only do the authorized warranty repairs recommended to us.   

     

    We have repeatedly expressed to her what we are doing, who we are communicating with etc.  Acura of Maui has done all they can. We don't determine if a vehicle is a Lemon. These are issues that would be up to ******** *********** Corporation.
