    Signed a contract with Rising Run for installation of a Tesla roof tile system in December 2020. Paid $5000 deposit in Jan 2021. Rising Sun then did a complete roof inspection, found no issues, and obtained all approvals from me (homeowner).
    After Tesla raised prices, Rising Sun refused to install my system. After more than a year of delays they sent a "building inspector" to look at my roof. After two minutes of looking at my roof from inside the house he left. Rising Sun then said my system could not be installed even though my current roof was cement tile and the Tesla system weighted less. No reason was provided in writing as they refused to provide any documentation from building inspector.
    After years more of requests and demands for performance Rising Sun stopped responding and turned over to their lawyer. I asked for completion of work or compensation to have alternative system installed as my roof was leaking. They refused several times but at one point offered to do solar panel system at new and higher retail price. They offered to return my $5000 deposit and on several occasions I asked for it returned but I still have not received my money after almost 3 years. I believe they lied about ability to install Tesla roof tile system and when prices were raised they refused to honor the contract they signed with me.
    Nathan Wood another supplier of Tesla roof tile system offered to do that system on my house and said it met the requirements. The issue was the increased cost as Rising Sun had delayed several years and the price had increased by $80,000.00

    Mr ****** ******* of Rising Sun on Kauai HI called a personal friend on Saturday 8/13 to discuss my marriage situation. I cancelled an installation of a solar system and when asked why by Mr *******, I told Mr ******* that I was splitting with my wife of 33 years. Although I’ve been in touch with Mr ******* (23)txts negotiations a settlement, I assumed that the reason for my cancellation was pvt. Mr ******* called a friend of mine to discuss my reasoning. Of course no one has the info on why we were splitting, now everybody has it.

    Mr ******* has no business discussing the why and I feel it was done as a settlement tactic.
