I scheduled a vet appt. for my dog on Nov. 11th. When I made the appt. the receptionist said that my dog was due for a vxn and 2 tests. I declined these items and made it clear that he only needed an exam, allergy shot for his itching and 2 months of flea meds. The day of his appt. I thought that I would not make it on time so I called to get the appt. pushed back. They declined, So I said he would make it there on time and reconfirmed with the receptionist what he is scheduled to receive. She confirmed and mentioned that he was also due for a vxn and 2 tests. I reiterated that I did not want him to receive those and just receive the exam, allergy shot and 2 months of flea meds. As I was unable to make it to the appt. My husband took him. When I saw the receipt, they had performed everything I had declined. We went back to the clinic the next day to speak to someone about the charges, they said they would need to speak to the tech. and I would receive a call from the manager by midweek to discuss and get a possible refund. No call, so I called them back on Fri. Nov. 18th and spoke to someone that stated that the doctor needs to review the case. So I said that I thought the manager was going to call me. She said the manager wasn't in until Sat. So I asked if the manager had heard of my concerns. She said she had and would call me on Sat. No call. I called on Wed. Nov. 23 and spoke to another receptionist. I explained everything to her again and was told that they are having staffing issues and the manager is no longer there and that my husband consented to the additional tests and vaccine. My husband stated that he didn't consent, and was told, not asked. They totally took advantage of the situation. The receptionist would not let me speak to any other person that would be able to authorize the refund stating she was the only one there. I was trying to plead my case and mentioned that I would be contacting the BBB to report them and she hung up on me. Very upsetting
