    My husband and I booked a Canoe Sailing adventure with this company for 11:45 on Sept 19, 2020. After booking this non-refundable excursion for more than $180 PP, we learned the liability waiver included a requirement that our full birthdate be provided and that we allow unrestricted use of our image. Specifically all right, title, interest in and to record my name, image, voice, or statements including any and all photographic images, and video or audio recordings"Here is a link to the waiver: https://waiver.***********.com/w/59260dd6ca440/web/?auto_tag=fh_id_139621370 When I asked the proprietor if I could sign all aspects of the liability waiver except providing the full birthdate and unrestricted use of our images and voice, he refused. He also said it would not be possible to provide a paper copy of the waiver and that it had to be signed electronically, despite a notice on the waiver page that a paper copy could be substituted. Please note: the proprietor already had our ages from the initial signup and I was willing to provide birth year. It is well understood that excess consumer data should not be collected (especially a sensitive type of data like birthdate) and that consumers should retain a right to their images. The proprietor refused to let us sail without providing these pieces of information and would not provide a refund. To me, this is akin to finding out you need to provide your SSN to go canoeing AFTER paying for a non-refundable excursion.
