    I have been relying on Cummins since 2020 to help me keep my Onan Generator running. I purchased a generator from them that was ordered 12/2022 and arrived for installation 3/2023 per their recommendation. This was to pre-emptively replace the one I had that may be getting to the end of its expected hours. Within days of installation, it had a serious problem. This was "fixed" by Cummins, but no offer of replacing the generator was made despite my request that they replace the brand new generator that clearly was not in good condition. The generator continued to have problems starting. I reported the consistency of this problem, but was offered no solution or services that could potentially fix the problem. 10/2024 the generator starting to have serious stalling problems. I reached out to Cummins and no service appointment was offered despite multiple requests. I started to request appointments again in December with minimal response and no offer of an appointment until January. That service appointment did not resolve the problem.I have been stuck with a lemon generator for 2 years without having the back-up of reliable service to keep it going.Unfortunately, I will need to continue to rely on their service, because this is the only dealer on island. I would like a substantial credit toward a new generator to replace this one that has never been reliable. I spent around $10,000 for the generator purchase and subsequent installations. I have spent more than $6000 additional dollars on service with Cummins through these few past years..
