    I booked and paid by credit card online for a five hour kayak tour from Aloha Kayak company for four people for February 6, 2024. They called me 15 minutes before the trip was supposed to start to cancel for bad weather. I said I wanted to rebook the trip but they never called me back so then I started sending emails to ask for my refund of $598 which was the price for four people for the five hour trip. I never received a response to three or four emails. I also texted the owner Iwa Kaluas private phone number and got no response. I tried to call the company a number of times, but the voicemail was always full. I looked at their reviews on Tripadvisor and Yelp and see that approximately 25% of the reviews indicate the same kind of problem that I am having. I want my money back. I paid for the trip that they canceled and did not rebook. I need my refund of $598 from this company. It appears to me that this company deliberately does this and is stealing customers money this way. I am also going to notify the ************ DLNR that gives them a permit about this companys theft of customers money.

    I purchased a 5hr Kealakekua Bay and Captain **** Monument Tour on November 11th. It clearly states on the website that there is a 48hour cancellation policy. My tour is scheduled for December 12th. I have been trying to contact company since December 2nd to cancel. I sent an email that did not get a response. I called on December 4th. Listened to entire message that stated business name, requested people book online and was unable to leave a message because mailbox is full. I called December 6th and the voicemail changed. It no longer states the business name. Says to leave your name and number. I was able to leave a message. According to other users who have made reviews this company frequently scams tourists. They either do not show up to the tours or consumers are unable to get ahold of them to cancel as in my case. This is a bad business practice that is unacceptable.

The company asks notice for at least 48 hours. I have provided notice of more than 1 month. I have emailed the company 6 times requesting a cancellation. Additionally, I have called the company 4 times requesting a cancellation. The calls were not answered leading to me leaving 4 voicemails requesting a cancellation. The company has not responded to any of my emails or calls....Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: The company has not. They have not responded to my cancellation requests in any way. I have seen no refund on my bank statement....Booking number: 197951674...If the issue involves advertising: It does not.

    We booked and paid for a kayak trip over to the Captain **** area and dutifully arrived on our appointed morning...early rising with 3 kids to ensure we were on time. We got there and an assistant said the owner could not be located so they would have to cancel. No alternative options were presented except that we had the option of rescheduling or he would refund our costs. Since we could not reschedule, we asked for our refund and he again said this would be done as soon as possible. Well, that was about 3 weeks ago now and we have emailed twice and called dozens of times. We have gotten zero feedback or response. We did find another company that morning who rented us kayaks and they laughed when they heard our story. They said Aloha does this all the time. I notice there are a lot of other similar reviews on here. I suppose perhaps they do a good tour when they show up for work (I guess, we'll never know), but they are not honest nor responsible for making things right when they do not provide the service that they committed to. Cannot suggest using this vendor. I will happily update this review if they get back in touch and refund out money, but they have been completely unresponsive till now. We paid $593.50 on a **** at 7/11/2023 @ 8:42 AM for the tour on AUG 3 @ 7:15 AM-1:15 PM These are their contact details in the email confirmation to us: ************** ****************************************************** alohakayak.com 82-5674 *********** ****************, ** ***** They purport the following:ALOHA KAYAK is the only ******** Owned and Operated Kayak tour outfit with ************ Parks Permits.I have not checked this out but seems reasonable that the *************** should and ought consider managing this given the number of similar complaints at BB and online.

    I purchased a kayak tour for me and my family and the cancellation policy indicated that you could cancel for a full refund if you notified at least 48 hours ahead of time. We notified of our desire to cancel more than 48 hours before our booking and asked for a refund but have not been granted a refund to date and the company had not returned any messages. We have tried email and phone with no response.

    We booked online and paid for a night kayak/manta snorkel on 1/15/23 for our vacation on4/28/23. We arrived early to get orientation and the never showed up. Another couple was booked as well. Finally a kid (18 or so) showed up and told ** they were running late due to weather. But he couldnt actually reach his boss. We tried calling and texting the company and it goes straight to voicemail. But the voicemail is full. We waited for an hour or more and the kid finally said he didnt think they were going to show. He said we could re-book or get our money back. We went to the business location it was some flys house. Trucks with kayaks all over but they wouldnt answer the door. They had plenty of time to cancel our trip. This company is a scam as far as I can tell. Still no call from company and still no refund. We have also texted and reached out to all numbers on the confirmation email. No response.

    Hi,I paid Aloha Kayak $232.69 on February 27 to go on a kayak tour for two people. The tour was supposed to happen on March 4, 2023 at 8am. I showed up at the exact spot described in the email and followed the instruction to ***. Nobody showed up. I tried to call, text and email the business and waiting for an hour and did not receive any answer. The voicemail of the business is full so I could not leave a voicemail. The shop looked derelict. I never got to get on the booked tour and never got any information back from the business or any refund. I would like to get my money back.
