      1. Since November 2022 duplicate payments were made to Island Restoration and I have not recovered my payment. Island Restoration submitted two insurance estimates for my insurance claim. The first estimate Island Restoration received duplicate payments, on 11/1/2022 for $4,356.98 by the insurance company and then on 11/4/2022 by me. The second insurance estimate was paid in November ******. The insurance Claims Section Manager stated:Our Claims team spoke with Island Restoration, same day (October 22, 2022), to confirm payment would be issued to them directly and requested their tax identification number (TIN). Island Restorations TIN was processed, and payment was issued to them, on November 1 (2022)."3.On 11/4/2022 Island Restoration, despite having been informed by the insurance company that payment would be issued directly to them, Island Restoration came to my residence and requested that I pay them directly, as they stated they had not received payment from the insurance company. I wrote a check.4.On 12/7/2022, Island Restoration cashed the $4,356.98 check from the insurance company. 5.Island Restoration broke a bathroom light fixture and a stove part in November 2022, and said they would purchase two-bathroom lights and the stove part. A service provider on February 17, 2023, installed the two-bathroom lights that I had to buy since no replacements were provided. Since I was unable to match the bathroom lights, the replacement lights were smaller and under the right side it has a small area unpainted. The service provider said he was unable to install the stove part and would tell Island Restoration. February 24, 2023, via text message to me the service provider confirmed he told Island Restoration he couldnt replace my stove part. Island Restoration has made no other service arrangements to install this stove part.6.On 2/25/2023, I sent an email to Island Restoration regarding the insurance check and stove part. No response.
