I purchased a number of orchids from them and was excitedly waiting to receive them and enjoy them for years to come. At first glance, they looked beautiful but I saw signs of damage and possible bug infestation so I contacted them about it which they said to keep an eye out on and see how they do. I followed their recommendations but eventually, after using insecticides, replanting (only to discover some were not well rooted at all and weak at the source, finding sponge and odd bits of growing media which was questionable), and giving them as much love and care as possible all while putting in work and not getting to enjoy them, they gave a partial refund for those that were terribly affected. I reached out when the others succumbed which was bound to happen because whatever disease or infestation was widespread even with isolation they refused to refund the remaining amount. I spent close to $300 and did not get to spend a single minute to enjoy what could have been beautiful and lasted for years and I have a green thumb so I know! Ultimately they even tried to blame me claiming that I just have done something wrong where I did not, I contacted them and let them know that I thought there was an issue but they just wanted me to wait it out, and unfortunately I was patient to do so but it was certainly not to my benefit and much so led to a big loss on my part. Im not even sure I can reorder from them given this experience even though they have such beautiful orchards on their site. The actual experience was just unfortunately terrible.

Our records show a net payment of $136 from the original invoice of $287, after discounts and returns; see the attached document.

Despite our strict pest management system, which includes weekly inspections and sprays, a small percentage of plants may encounter pests that hatch during transit. This is rare but can happen. In these cases, we make it right, as we have done here by crediting over 50% of the original cost.

Orchids are truly resilient, and as in nature, they fend off pests and heal on their own; most even become stronger.
Each plant is grown in a different greenhouse locations, and not all have been affected similarly.  Actually, some of the orchids sold does a good job of repelling pests.

Keep in mind, orchids are living plants.  From our experience, not pests but the new environment and improper care - excess watering & fertilizers, harsh city water (reverse osmosis recommended), poor air circulation, inadequate humidity and poor lighting contributes to the bulk of the *****.    Finally, from warm tropics of ****** to ********, their new home, is a BIG change in environment.

I am rejecting this response because: I followed the exact protocols the business recommended and I have cared for orchids with great success in the past many surviving for years with the routine. I used neem oil as recommended and they were indoors under careful conditions so it is not my lack of care. I know orchids are resilient as I have cared for them in the past, the issue is that diseased plants were sent to me and they skirted around the issue as I struggled to keep them alive instead of enjoying something. Ive had numerous plants shipped before. This was a company issue and not a customer issue. And they knew this all along.

    Sincerely,
