    I hate to leave such a negative review of Kauai Exclusive, but after a recent stay and some very misleading information on their website, I feel because of safety concerns, and no response from the company after several attempts, it is necessary. The house we rented, had a lot of things that are normal with vacation rentals, things were not perfect, but tolerable, but it is the ignoring of negative reviews and the false advertisement of safety around the in ground pool, that I feel compelled to make sure someone will pay attention. The house is at ************************************************************, Kauai, HI, a house that has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and is clearly meant for large gatherings of family and friends. The layout was great, but it was advertised as having combination locks around 5 sliders leading to the pool area located just off the family room and bedrooms. There were no combination locks as advertised, and all of the slider locks except 1 were broken and did not lock. the doors themselves had normal slider locks on them, but this house has no a/c, so having the air and doors open is natural with the heat outside. Despite several attempts to alert the company that this could lead to a young child drowning without constant supervision have gone unanswered by Kauai Exclusive, and in researching their company this is a common thing they do, they only publish 5 star reviews which is misleading and is why we rented this house. If we had known that the dangers existed with the pool, we would have picked another location, since we had 3 young children in our group. Not to mention the deck of the pool was so slippery we had to line it with towels to prevent all of the occupants from slipping, not just the young children. I hope you will research this company, they are clearly not posting reviews that could have devastating effects, and I felt that I had to speak up so that some family does not have a tragedy while vacationing in paradise.
