********** ****** Craft Fair scheduled for Nov. 2022 was cancelled due to the death of ********, who ran the fair for 33 years, with help from her family. I had paid the booth fee of $582 by check dated Aug. 9, 2022, which was cashed; the $100 deposit check was not cashed. The family sent a letter in Nov. with information about ********'s death and stating that the fair was cancelled and they would contact the vendors and issue refunds. I have tried to contact them by email (no answer), by telephone (the mailbox is full) and by registered letter (the receipt has not been returned). The fair usually had at least 400 vendors. At an average of $600 per booth, that's almost $250,000. ********* does not have this fair on their Nov. 2023 schedule. Can you help me get a refund?

    Date: 09/12/2023

I received a check yesterday, Sept. 11, 2023, for $582, the full amount of the refund due.  It took them 11 months to mail the refund to me with absolutely no contact, even tho I tried telephoning, emails and letters.

Mahalo for your help in this matter.
