    I was a patient and seen at Makana Clinic on February 5th 2025. I was seen by a doctor and diagnosed with acute gout. The visit lasted no longer than ************************ X-rays were done. I received a prescription for **********.I did give them a credit card and signed an agreement to allow them to charge any additional fees that my insurance did not cover. This morning I noted a pending credit card charge from this clinic for $662.00. I then called my insurance, Select Health Advantage who stated that they have not received a claim from this clinic. They have attempted to call the billing office but received voicemail only. I also have attempted to reach them with the same result. I hope to get your assistance in Makana Clinic to cancel the charge on my credit card and to bill my insurance . Thank you very much.

    While on vacation on 10/4/23 in ***** I went to this Urgent Care for water in my ear. I was treated and released the same day. I used my insurance with Select Health and also gave them my cc information. At the time of the visit. i had met by deductible and copay maximums. I was surprised to see the urgent care charged my cc $14.66 with my deductibles having been met. I reached out to my insurance and for over 5 months they have tried to contact this provider to get this billing corrected to 0 and for the urgent care to reimburse me. Select Health has not been able to contact them. Please assist. Claim #***L939899900

    I am rejecting this response because: I would like to keep all correspondence through BBB. This has been going on since 10/2023. I would like this resolved through here. ****, its such a small amount but I have gotten no where with your facility on even underwriting the charges. Tax? I went in for an ear ache and had my ears cleaned with no medication or equipment. In and out in 20 minutes. Please explain all charges and why my cc was charged at all. I have met my deductibles with my insurance.

    I received your complaint through Better Business Bureau, and I wanted to take a moment to apologize for the frustration you have experienced. We have recently changed billing providers, and I have confidence that we can appropriately address your concern. Upon researching, it appeared that $14.66 was an adjusted amount that was not collectable. Your credit card was charged $6.75, and this has been reversed from your credit card used. There is no balance due, and the visit was paid in full. This error was made by our previous billing company, and our current billing provider made the appropriate correction.
