The customer ********************** here is horrible. The service was bad. I even sent a notice to Midas Consumer Relations over 3 weeks ago and they have not even contacted me. I have my receipt in the truck and was so disappointed with how much I had to pay to have my spark plugs replaced on my truck- over $800.00! I reviewed my receipt and found a $150.00 flat fee; I called Midas and asked what this fee was for, they reported, "it's the taxes and stuff and for the rags we used on your vehicle." No, no, no, no! They didn't even tell me about this fee beforehand or even after! ***** explained to me what was done, how the job went, etc. They are very limited on their customer ********************** skills. I had seen them interacting with their family members (a baby and wife) while dropping my truck off. If they could have interacted with me the way they 100% interacting with family while doing business then maybe they could get a little further with attempting to satisfy a customer. I am very upset that ***** has called me back and I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere. I felt like I got robbed here- I still feel like that today!

I received an advertisement in the mail for a synthetic oil change for $89.99. I walked into my appointment, presented the mailer coupon and the service provider, ******, explained the cost of the service would be $135 because my truck needed an extra quart of oil. I?ve taken my car to ******** in ******** (excellent customer ********************** and honored the online price I made the appointment with which was $97 total (w/disposal fee, extra quart) and I?ve never had an issue with the service clerk charging me more than the advertised price. In this case, ****** asked where I?ve taken my truck before and I said, ********, and he asked "How much did they charge you?" and I replied the advertised price plus disposal fee/extra quart which was around $97. At this point, I should?ve known something was up because he then offered me a $15 discount (again, weird) but I had to be somewhere and I had gone through the whole ordeal of making an appointment and getting my truck there so I agreed to the now $120 bill.Something was bothering me so I filled out a comment on the Midas site and the *** ***, contacted me. He first came off concerned but his tone quickly changed and started arguing about the bill. I pulled the bill up and asked, "Why was a I charged $30 for labor on top of the $85 for supplies when the advertised oil change was $89.99, like that doesn?t include the labor to get the oil change done?" And he said, well, "How am I supposed to pay my technicians?" I said, "Well, your advertised price of $89.99 is false advertising because no where does it state that you will have to pay a labor charge in additional to the supply charge?" Basically, he was justifying his bad business practice of over charging a customer for a ********************** that is not included in the advertised price.Beware of this business and their predatory pricing tactics and passing on the buck to the customer. And if you do use this business, don?t expect any customer ********************** or ownership of price manipulation.

I took my car in to Midas in May 2022 because the Check Engine light came on. The agent said the spark plugs needed replacement and the Ignition coils needed replacement. I agreed to have them do the repairs even though the quote was quite high...about $1800. Then in December I needed to replace the failing spark plugs at another shop because the Check Engine light came on again. The tech said something was wrong with the way the Ignition Coils had been installed. The wires had been epoxyed on to the metal and another set of wires had **** connectors holding them together. When I took the car back to complain and ask for a refund or have the coils fixed, the Manager *** said he would only refund the spark plugs but he could not prove his workers did the coils. Seriously? It's written right on my invoice. Between May when I took my car to Midas until December when the other repair shop saw the coils, I could not have had anyone else touch my car. I want Midas to FIX the coils or refund my money. *** said I should go to *****'s Electric and have them fix the coils. AT EXTRA COST to ME! Pls help.
