I had Cutting Edge Builders remodel our Master bathroom and after they were done, we have a water hammering problem. And the water hammering noise sounds like it's at the area where they replaced the new valve's for our Master bathroom shower and bathtub valve. We have the noise everytime we use all our water supply. After they were done with the remodeling, I informed the owner ****, and he said he will get a plumber to work on it. They completed the remodeling before Christmas of 2022 and till now he has not send a plumber to fix the problem. I texted him again on May 28, 2023 and he responded on May 30, 2023 that he will get a plumber to work on it, but still no plumber came. Then I texted him on June 2, 2023 and after that he has not yet replied. I need to know what can I do to have him fix the problem, because it's clearly they caused the water hammering, before the job was done we didn't have any water hammering.

    Hi
Once again, thank you for using Cutting Edge Builders for your bath remodel. Its unfortunate that you still have this so called water hammering in your water lines. When we started the demo part of the work, you had mentioned to me about this water hammering youve been having. You asked me to have the plumbers look to see if anything was possibly loose in the wall area. There was nothing loose near the shower valve area where you suspect the noise is originating from. You and I both tried to see if we could adjust the water coming into the home with no luck. Your issue is due to water pressure. My plumbers didnt come out because it was not part of their scope of work to troubleshoot an existing problem. Yet you say its my plumbers who CLEARLY caused the noise. Again, there were no loose copper lines and I do hope you find a solution to the noise.

More Information...This is my reply to *********************: FIRST OF ALL, WE CLEARLY DID NOT HAVE A WATER HAMMERING PROBLEM BEFORE!!! ONLY AFTER the INSTALLATION of the two new shower valves for our Master bathroom shower and Hallway bathroom bathtub/shower. And YOU or your PLUMMERS couldn't check for anything that would be causing it because the drywall was already put up. As for adjusting the water pressure to my home, you didn't make any effort to do that, and there's no way to  adjust the water pressure to my home, because we didn't have a water pressure regulator on the main water supply line at that time. You keep saying that my issue is water pressure, well I did a pressure reading on the water pressure supply to my home and it was only 78 PSI which is not high. Because I paid YOU the FULL AMOUNT, per the Proposal you gave me. YOU didn't care to even try to help fix the water hammering problem. I didn't contact YOU for awhile after the work you guys did, because I wanted to see if you would be as you replied in my review statement for your business that as you stated in your reply "We do take pride in what we do." Well guess NOT because YOU never made any effort to  help correct or  provide help with solving this water hammering problem. But NO, you did NOTHING. SO, I texted YOU SEVERAL TIMES and still, YOU DIDN'T PROVIDE ANY HELP TO SOLVE THIS WATER HAMMERING, THAT STARTED WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE SHOWER VALVE'S. This really shows what a type or person YOU ARE and how you run your business. Because of the water hammering that went on after the shower valve's installation, I had to replace our water heater because the water hammering caused it to leak, I bought and installed water Hammer arrestors for the washing machine, Kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet, toilet. After all that, still had the water hammering. So I hired two ******** Services, the first ******** Service replaced our main water supply valve and added a main water supply line pressure regulator. The ******* set the regulator to 50 PSI and still had the water hammering problem, so it wasn't the ISSUE as YOU SAY. Before the ******* came to do the job I removed the the large vanity mirror in the Hallway bathroom and cut out the drywall right of the bathtub shower valves to be able to see within the back side of the wall. The ******* even opened up the drywall behind the  refrigerator and behind the water heater to investigate what could be  the cause for the water hammering. After all that he didn't know what was causing the water hammering. So looking back on some pictures and videos I took when the drywall was removed in th Master bedroom wall for the shower valve and the pictures I took with the drywall cut out in the Hallway bathroom bathtub area, I noticed that the original Air ******** for the shower valve's were removed. So I removed the panel for the Hallway bathroom bathtub valve area, so the next ******** Service would have access to install Air ******** for the both bathroom showers valve's. So I hired another ******** Service to install Air ********. After the installation  of the Air ********, still had the water hammering problem. So I did more searching online to find what would cause the water hammering problem and I was able to find a site that explained what and how to resolve the water hammering problem. So I  followed the sites repair and was able do the repair myself and finally solve the water hammering problem. YOU GAVE ME STRESS, GRIEF, MADE ME SPEND MORE MONEY TRYING TO SOLVE THIS WATER HAMMERING PROBLEM. IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE, HIRING YOUR BUSINESS!!!
