    My husband and I signed contract with Wave Builders, LLC as of March 21, ***************************************************** the amount of $90,000. Thus far, we have already paid 25% deposit ( 3/21/2022 Initial Deposit - 15% payment: $13, 500 (Attachment 1) and 8/31/2022 Submission payment: $9,000 (Attachment 2) total amount of $22,500). 11/2/2022 (via email) Wave Builders claimed application has been submitted to DPP. Upon researching on DPP website, there is no record of application submitted. No current permit applicant in site. For several months we have been trying to follow up via email and no success getting a response as of 1/25/2023. I finally called two project managers only to learn they both no longer work for Wave Builders and that Wave Builders moved out. We tried calling the owner and no luck either due to recording not accepting calls. Wave Builders should be held accountable and should return our money back.

    My wife and I contracted with Wave Builders, LLC to do our bathroom renovation project. We signed a contract on October 20, 2022 in an amount of $90,090.92 to completely redo two of our bathrooms. I paid Wave Builders $45,045.46 as 50% down payment for the project. We were advised by *********** (Estimator) there would be a pre-construction meeting with the project ******* in a couple of weeks. We met with Frezno *************) and *********** (Estimator/Jr. Project Manager) on November 14, 2022 to discuss the project and time schedule. Everything seemed well at this point. We received an email from *** on November 18, 2022 advising us that she had spoken with ************ *************) who is the vendor providing us with the shower enclosure installation. The construction schedule would evolve around their schedule because there would be no sense in starting demolition work until ***** was ready to start their install. She said that unfortunately due to the holidays being around the corner, ***** schedule was tight and they would not be able to start until mid to end of January 2023. We have not heard from them since then and no work has commenced. On February 6, my wife called the office and connected to an automated answering machine. When she tried to leave a message, the machine cut her off. She then contacted *** on her cell *************). She said that *** appeared agitated and would only say that she no longer works for the company as of December 2022. I stopped by the office and was approached by a worker from the adjacent business, ***********************, and was told that Wave Builders moved out January 2023. My wife also called ************ later that afternoon and spoke with our contact person, ***** who said that Wave Builders never placed the order and no down payment was made to secure the building materials. My confidence in Wave Builders has been shattered and I want my money back.

    Contract Signed and Approved on 4/27/2022 Total amount given to company: $80,960.81 Wave Builders claimed they submitted drawings to the ************************************* (DPP) on September 27 2022. However as of today DPP has no records of ever receiving the plans. We attempted to contact the company via phone and email for over month with no response. When we went down to the business location it was cleared out with no sign of them being there. We feel that they have breached our contract because they did not submit the plans to DPP.

    On 21 May 2022, we signed a contract with Wave Builders, LLC to build an extension to our existing home. The contracted price was $198,391.95 (see attachment 1).On 27 May 2022, we made a initial payment of $100,000 (see attachment 2). In June 2022, the owner of the company, *************** asked for a cash payment of $20,000 to cover phase 1 of the project. We paid and the contracted prices was subsequently adjusted on paper to $178,391.95 (see attachment 3). To date we have paid Wave Builders a total of $168,839.20 (see attachments 4-7). Again, this includes the $20,000 cash payment. In Nov of 2022, *************** informed me that he was bringing a sub contractor in to complete the job. *************** told me that he did not have the manpower to complete the job on his own. After meeting with *** and the subcontractor on our property, we agreed to remain in contract with Wave Builders while allowing the sub contractor to complete the job IAW the terms of the contract. On 23 Dec 2022, *************** informed me that Wave Builders was going bankrupt and that he did not have the financial means to complete the job. I asked if the contractor could complete the job at the contracted price and *************** said that was between the contractor and me. I also aske about a contract settlement and *************** stated that I would need to speak with his lawyers. He promised to provide me with the contact information for his lawyers but is no longer answering my calls to texts. On 27 Dec 2022, the sub contractor that *************** personally brought into the project provided me with an estimate on how much it would cost to complete the job IAW the design plan (see attachment 8). This price includes $5000 to repair foundation work done by Wave Builders. In order to complete the job with the sub contractor that *************** introduced, we will need to pay an additional $20,000 above our remaining balance with Wave Builders and are seeking a refund of monies already paid to complete the job.

    DATE NOV 16 START OF RENOVATION AT **** ************ B206 CONDO COMPLETE ******************* / WALL / LIGHTING / REQUESTED WINDOWS/ etc etc INVOICE # *****-01 TOTAL $22,000 very UNPROFESSIONAL/.NO SCHEDULING OR PLANNING WITH ALL THE DETAILS OF ***S NEEDED TO BE DONE THEY DID NOT SCHEDULE A ELECTRICIAN / PLUMBER KNOWING CABINETS WERE TO BE REMOVED /THE *** IT WAS PLANNED TO BE REMOVED THEY SAID IT CAN'T BE DONE PAINTERS WERE SCHEDULED BY ME TO PAINT ENTIRE UNIT .......DATE WAS GIVEN TO WAVE BUILDERS SINCE THEY AGREED THEIR WORK WOULD BE DONE .I REQUESTED NEW FLOORS NOT TO BE INSTALLED BUT THEY DID INSTALL IT AND SAID BASEBOARDS NEEDED TO BE PAINTED .........AND THEY WOULD COVER THE ENTIRE FLOOR TO PROTECT IT .,......THEY DID NOT COMPLETE THE COVERING AND THE PAINTERS NEEDED TO GO OUT AND PURCHASE SUPPLIES THAT MORNING OF THE PAINTING TO COVER THE REMAINING FLOORS THERE IS NO ONE INSPECTING THE *** EXCEPT FROM WAVE BUILDERS - I COMPLAINED WHO IS OVERSEEING THE WORK AND TIME LINE - IT SEEMS LIKE I NEED TO GO IN AND SEND THEM PICTURES OF WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TOILET WAS ANOTHER ISSUE - I ASKED IF THEY COULD TELL ME WHERE IT WAS ****ING FROM BEFORE THEY REMOVED THE TOILET - THEY SENT A VIDEO - I ASKED IF THEIR PLUMBER COULD FIX IT BEFORE THE REINSTALL WAS DONE - THEY SAID THEY WILL HAVE SHORELINE PLUMBING CALL ME - THAT NEVER HAPPENED - THEN THEY SAID THEY WILL HAVE PRESTIGE PLUMBING CALL ME THAT TO DID NOT HAPPEN I CALLED A PLUMBER ON MY OWN ( ****** PLUMBING TO FIX THE **** AND REINSTALL) I DON'T THINK WAVE BUILDERS RETURNED TO WORK ON THIS PROJECT SINCE DEC 8TH WAVE BUILDERS VOICE MAIL BOX IS FULL FOR OVER 2 WEEKS ,REQUEST TO RETURN MY CALL NO RESPONSE .LAST EMAIL FROM THEM DEC 22 -I SENT EMAIL ON DEC ********************* REQUEST TO MEET , NO RESPONSE I PAID IN FULL.END OF NOV , HOPING THEY COULD FINISH OR MAKE IT A PRIORITY CONCERN DAMAGE FRIDGE / CLOSET MIRROR DOORS LEFT ON THE BALCONY
