I was invited to a free group workout at Reborn In Paradise Gym aka R1P Fitness by a good friend on Saturday, April 23, 2022. I fell in love with the culture of the gym and so I decided to come back on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 to start training there for a bodybuilding competition. At first, when I was talking with my trainer, ******** (Hip), I was promised one on one coaching, a diet plan, workout plan, social media exposure, and the ability to become apart of a "growing community." He then signed me up for the Spartan Program after that, which is a 12 week group training. He is using the same exact workout and diet plan for everyone whether they're competing, want to lose weight, or want to gain muscle. Not realizing what exactly the program was, I went with it, not realizing at the time that I was being deceived and mislead. He is money hungry! He charged me as well as others in the program $1800. On July 18, 2022, the day before my birthday, I injured by back performing a deadlift. To this day, I am still working out and dealing with this pain on a day to day basis. I did not receive one thing that I was promised, especially the one on one training. After almost three months of being there, when I was debating whether or not to leave, *** tried to keep me there by offering me a personal training position. Which later turned into a non-paid internship, that I had to sign a contract for, until I got certified. After considering this position, and even considering getting certified, I found out that none of the trainers were even certified! Hip does not have a nutritionist degree nor certification! Because he cut carbs, and sodium from my diet, I was bloated for about three to four weeks - I was nowhere near ready to step on stage. He had me starting diuretic pills ten days out from my show, which resulted in me not being my 100% best for my show. In total, I have paid their business $2,243.71. I have not brought this to their attention due to fear of retaliation.

********************* entered Reborn 1n Paradise (R1PFITNESS) on 23 April to join a free Saturday workout class we offer to the community. ********************* came back to Reborn 1n Paradise on 26 April 2022, and willingly signed up to join the Spartan Program knowing that it was in fact a group style workout out session. as we thoroughly brief all clients that join the spartan  program on what it entails and everything associated with it. We Also include an email with all information that would be needed during the program, we also state that the Spartan program is not 1 on 1 Personal Training. There was no misleading of any kind as we try to be very clear about the programs and different types of training and services we offer. The spartan program cost is $1800, and is told to the client prior to any signing up, as it is a separate cost from the gym membership., which is also explained prior to signing up to the gym. Once again ********************* of her own free will, signed up for the Yearly gym membership and the 12 week spartan program on 26 April 2022. Attached is the spartan intake form that she has signed and filled out stating that she will be joining the program and that she will pay the program in its entirety regardless of the circumstances. ****** still has an unpaid balance of $600 owed to the gym for the spartan program, which she had been notified  multiple times about, and always stated an excuse on why she couldn't pay the balance at the time. We were understanding and extended her time until she was able to pay the balance. No balance was ever paid, she also has a pending membership balance as well, along with her boyfriend as we are unable to process their payment for yearly memberships, that continue to grow in  balance as the months continue to go by ( as of right now two months past due for ******/Boyfriend) No Injuries were reported to Hip or any staff at the gym. After ****** being in the gym, Hip sat down with ****** to talk about an opportunity, offering her a position in training to become a personal trainer at our gym. After the conversation she did agree to become part of the team as a Personal Trainer in Training (non-paid) until she did in fact become certified, (in which we would be providing the study material and On the job training needed to become qualified.) ****** signed the paper work and employment agreement which stated the initial 3 months are a non-paid internship until she had become certified and once she was, a paying position would be offered to her. The paperwork was signed on 22 JUNE 2022. She seemed happy to be joining the team at that time. We had no recollection of her dissatisfaction, or misunderstanding during her time at the gym, as we had spoken to her everyday as normal that she was here, and she was nothing but grateful to have found the gym and stated how happy and at home she felt here.
