    SUPERIOR EXTERIORS IN ****, IA INSTALLED SIDING ON MY HOME. I ASLO HAD ***** INSTALLED AND AT FIRST THEY MOUNTED THE CONTROL *** IN THE WRONG SPOT. THEY MOVED THE *** AND LEFT ***** IN MY SIDING. THE ***** COMPANY GOT AN ESTIMATE TO REPAIR IT FROM *************************** 3400ISH. INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE SIDING AS QUOTED IN THE ESTIMATE. HE POORLY PATCHED THE ***** WITH CAULK AND THE ***** CAN STILL BE SEEN. I CAN GET BEFORE AND AFTERS PHOTOES IF YOU NEED. I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL QUOTE, I'VE ALSO NOTIFYING THE ***** COMPANY.***********,*****,*****,*****,SHADY. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.     We have received several phone calls from this individual regarding work that was performed at his residence in late 2023.  

     

    Timeline:

    Job was sold by *************************** through Pro Exteriors

    Deposit was paid to Pro Exteriors

    **** left Pro Exteriors and joined Superior Exteriors

    Superior Exteriors fulfilled the job -  installing siding on this home in late 2022/early 2023

    Customer had solar panels installed

    Solar company apparently installed the control box in wrong location

    It took several months for the solar company to come out and move the box

    Superior Exteriors was hired to repair the siding damaged by this move

     

    Because the homeowner did not opt to coordinate work between the solar company and  Superior Exteriors so that the box could be removed and siding replaced prior to reinstallation, all we were able to do was patch the holes with color match caulk.

     

    We were paid directly from the solar company so any refunds will be returned to them and not the homeowner directly.

     

    We have received several threatening voicemails from this homeowner demanding that we respond via email.  This homeowner has also stated that he will not answer our telephone calls.  As well as made statements about how we have messed with the wrong person.

    We will refund the entire amount of $3,400.00 to the customer as long as they sign a Release of Liability; releasing Camken, **** dba Superior Exteriors from any liability related to this claim.  This document will need to be signed off on by both *************************** and *************************** and both signatures will need to be witnessed by a Notary Public prior to the release of the $3,400.00 in question.
