    I purchased an RV on auction from SMC auctions and after 90 days I still haven't received the title. Haven't been able to use it all summer. No answers or response There was nothing stating that they didn't have the title in hand and I purchased it in good faith. I paid for it with a check and they told me I would receive the title as soon as the check cleared. which it did on 6-24-24. It's now been over 90 days and nothing. was told a couple times i would have ****. Still nothing. I wasn't aware you could sell a vehicle without the title in hand. I had a very lar bought an RV on an auction done by SMC auctions in *******. at auction in ***************. on June *****. Invoice #******-12995-175665. There was nothing stating that they didn't have the title in hand and I purchased it in good faith. I paid for it with a check and they told me I would receive the title as soon as the check cleared. which it did on 6-24-24. It's now been over 90 days and nothing. was told a couple times i would have ****. Still nothing. I wasn't aware you cold sell a vehicle without the title in hand. I had a very large farm sale and my auction company would not list anything without good title in hand. At this point I've asked for a refund or a signed title. Still nothing or any communication from the company or the seller **** ******* of C.R. I haven't been able to even use it this summer with no title. I've visited with my legal team and they suggest telling you as I have contacted the local law enforcement agencies. Over 90 days still waiting on a title I was promised after check cleared. I would like a total refund first or a signed title **** with the guarantee they will pay all late fees and penalties as well as compensated for the summer I couldn't use it. Horrible way to run a business

    SMC Auctions held an auction for Pates Construction on June 18, 2024, where **** **** purchased an ** for $23,092.00
    On June 25, our accountant controller mailed out the titles for the vehicles and informed *** ******** that he did not have a title for this **.
    On June 26th, *** contacted **** about the ** Title, **** said she sent the paperwork for the bond and was informed that it would take 4-8 weeks.
    On August 22, *** started the group chat with **** **** and **** ******* informing **** of the status of the title and why it was taking so long. 
    On September 17, **** received a letter from the ********************************* Office of Vehicle & ************** on an Iowa Statutory Bond for Certificate of Title and forwarded this to **** ****.
    On September 26, **** ******* received the title.
    On September 27, *** hand delivered the title to **** ****,with all of the late fees and penalties paid.
