    I had CleanScapes Solutions out to cut down a large maple tree that was infested with ********* ants. In the quote it included removing the tree ***** and roots and hauling away debris and I paid $3,000 for their services. I found later they were going to leave the tree shavings from the *****. A construction friend ended up removing the debris for me and found underneath that part of the ***** was still there and roots. I had to pay him $200 to remove the debris. I have contacted the company twice and my construction friend has tried contacting them and no response. So I am reaching out to you for resolution to getting them to come back and finish the job I paid them to do.

    We agreed to remove her tree for an estimated $2,800. We removed the tree and cleaned up all the debris. There as an additional $200 charge because we had an additional load of debris, so the total cost of tree removal and clean up was $3,000.

    She wanted us to remove the stump. That was not part of the estimate as this is not something we normally do. After talking to her, we agreed to help her. We did the best we could and she was never charged for stump removal.

    We are sorry she is not happy with the stump grinding, however, she was never charged for this part of the work. I spent money to hire someone to do this but again she was never charged. We probably should not have agreed to the stump grinding but she insisted there was no one else to help her and I felt bad about her situation.

    Contract agreement was fulfilled by both parties.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 22201932.  They did say they would remove the stump as per their quote.  My church ended up renting a chipper and chipped enough of the stump so that it was no longer sticking above ground the way CleanScapes left it and were able to put dirt and grass seed to cover the rest of the stump.  I know they did not charge me for removing the stump and am thankful for the work they did to get some of it out.  It was the fact they didn’t tell me they didn’t remove the whole stump and covered it up.  My church came to the rescue and helped it look more presentable and grass is now growing.  I just would like to have been told the truth.
