    I went in and had my eyes examined at ******** of IA. I paid my co-insurance of $10.00. I really didn't like any of the frames that they had available. So, I didn't get any. I went back at a later time 11/20/24 with my old glasses. They took the old glasses and were ordering my lenses and would replace them. I paid $60.60 for this with a remaining balance of $40.40. When I went in to pick them up, I could see out of the lens, it was way too blurry. They insisted that they couldn't do anything until I wore them for 2 weeks. Saying it was because of me using reading glasses that morning. I know this made no difference because I always used my previous glasses even though I wore readers. I wanted my glasses back the way they were or the lens fixed even if it meant another appointment to get the prescription corrected. Still no, nothing unless I wore them for 2 weeks. I use my glasses (distance) to drive with, I couldn't see to drive with them, no point in taking them home and using them. I wouldn't do this, they said there was nothing they could do for me. I left very upset. I went back asking for help 2 more times, the second time the manager put my old lenses back into my frames (not put in well enough for me to wear them) and she gave them back to me. I thought this also meant that I would get my $60.60 back onto my card. Not only did I not get my money back, I received a bill this weekend for $40.40. So they were charging me and the insurance for frames and lenses I never had. I checked with my insurance today, they charged they charged them $223.00 for frames and lenses. I never got any of their frames and lenses. I do want my money back and the bill forgiven, since I had nothing for this amount. Remember the charge for seeing the optometrist was paid by me $10 and the insurance company $398.00 (plus the pic of eyes separately) paid in full. If anyone needs a copy of the bills and claims, I am having the claims emailed to me in the next couple of days?

    I ordered glasses on 8/7they came in 8/16 and were incorrect, the person measured wrong. I called today 8/30 and was told they had no idea where they were, I was spoken to rudely by the manager ******* and was old I couldnt speak to the company that purchased this eye location - *************** to provide a complaint.Since this was purchased by ***************, they have been terrible with customer contact, I am always contacting them, they are rude, the only decent folks are Dr ******* and Dr ****** and the front desk secretary in Ankeny. I will be taking my business elsewhere and Ive been going to them for 20+ years. I still have no glasses, I paid them $549 on 8/7 and no glasses.
