    Tom Brown was suppose to set our modular home in June 2024 we paid a $11000 deposit, we had some issues and set backs with building permits finally in Aug. 2024 in Oct 2024 contractor still hadn't done anything so I fired him acquired new contractor that did work.Tom Brown agreed he owed our money back but couldn't pay so I allowed him to break it into payments he could afford. He sent a paper with first check stating he would pay the payment in november then december and last payment in Jan. the remaining payment of $4500 in Jan 2025 wasn't made when contacted he said he couldn't pay it and would get us the money when he could. When I told him I would contact a lawyer he said go ahead. So I'm not sure what to do now.Last contact was end of Jan.
