    This company came to pick up a vehicle in my driveway and in the process hit one of my fence panels. They didn’t even have the sense or moral obligation to tell any of us that is was damaged. They need to replace the panel which is $18.18 with tax because I am not.

    This complaint was made without lakeside even being notified.  There is also no proof that this was done by a lakeside truck, lakeside always makes sure to take care of any issues that are proven to be our fault. Lakeside is more than happy to make sure any matter is taken care of as long as there is proof that it was our fault. I do not believe that this damage was done by a Lakeside truck. Thank you

    As previously stated, Lakeside always takes pride in what we do and will always make things right. Lakeside would be more than happy to help with the fence panel if proof can be provided that we are in the wrong. I personally think the name calling and the attitude of this customer is very wrong and unprofessional. Once again, this customer filed a complaint before providing any proof of lakeside being in the wrong. Provide proof of Lakeside damaging the fence panel and we will be more than happy to help. thank you

    I am rejecting this response because: I honestly would like an apology and accountability from the driver. Again the panel is $18 which my husband replaced because he knew this company was going to act like they did nothing wrong. I have already provided a picture of the tow truck in my driveway. I also have pics of the panel before the tow truck came and a pic of the panel after the truck left. And to the company I don’t have to be professional on my complaint when the company isn’t professional in acknowledging the driver was in the wrong!

    My son and I took his car to Lakeside Auto Recyclers on 5/8/2023 to be sold for scrap metal. At the inbound scale window my son was quoted $****** scrap price. The yard removed the car from the trailer we hauled it on. When we were weighed on the outbound scale, my son went to the window and was told he would only be paid $****** due to an aftermarket exhaust system on the car. I know for a fact that the original exhaust was on that vehicle, I bought the vehicle new and sold it to my son last year. Was in contact with the manager (Nick) yesterday 5/9/2023 and he still insisted it had a aftermarket exhaust. Today 5/10/2023 I called to see if I cut it out and look for factory markings and was told it had already been scrapped. We are out $******. This is a deceptive business practice and dishonest.

    I spoke directly to Mr. ******* and explained the situation, I also gave him my personal cell phone number and sent him a video and multiple pictures showing that the catalytic converter on the car was not the factory exhaust.  I sent him messages offering him an additional $*** to try and make the situation a little better for him.  He refused to text me back and instead called me multiple times stating that he was going to call the **** county attorney Matt ****** as well as the federal government. Throughout this process and threats, lakeside and myself kept on the fact that we wanted him to be happy and the offer of the extra $*** stood.  Mr. ******* refused the offer.

    I will attach the pictures and video as well as the text messages.

    Mr. ******** claims do not line up.

    Lakeside auto unlwfully/illegally purchased and detroyed my stolen vehicle. I am pursuing Lakeside auto for Property damage and illegally purchasing my vehicle.

    We (Lakeside) have been in contact with Detective **** of the ***.  Lakeside purchased this car from a dealer.  It is to our understanding that this vehicle was a repossession in disrepair, which is the reason it was sold to us for recycling.  Lakeside has done nothing against the law or anything to or against Danielle *********.
