    I paid over $6,300 back in April 2024 for a Shower Basement Remodel that we have YET been able to use. Ther initially told me the shower would be completed in 2 days. When we went to use it, we realized that the water was not going down the drain. I immediately contacted the contractor, JC Remodeling & flooring and informed them of the serious problem. They tried a simple fix for the drain which did not work. On July 13, **** came over with a camera this time and told me the reason water is not draining is because there is mold in the copper piping and he would come back in a few weeks to fix and put in pvc piping. This was never done. It has been very frustrating dealing with a company that refuses to take accountability for their mistake and make things right. A few days later, I had to pay Roto-Rooter to come out & tell me it's not MOLD in copper piping, but instead it is all filled with GROUT IN PUMP TRAP DIRECTLY UNDER SHOWER BASE. The contractor then told me he ordered a product that would dissolve the grout and once he received it, he would come by. No one has ever shown up. I had asked him for the name or pictures of the products that he was going to us and he said he doesn't have to show me what he was going to use and the photos I sent to him from Roto-Rooter don't prove that it's grout. Communication with JC Remodleing is very difficult since they very rarely reply to phone calls or text messages.
