Working with Seeds Corporations contractor ******************* has been a nightmare! The work failed multiple inspections, despite the contractors efforts to hide their shoddy window installation behind drywall, where smashed insulation and incorrectly installed framing were discovered, revealing the deliberate attempt to cover up errors and code violations. When brought to Mr. ******* attention, he stated that is how he would have had the windows installed at his home such as leaving a window on the windowsill instead of shimming the window, claiming that leaving the window on the windowsill gave the window more support, the list goes on and on. After multiple failed inspections (4 or 5) and discovering smashed insulation, I removed the installer from the job site. ******************* said that he had fired the employee (who ended up being a sub-contractor who had worked for **** for around two years) due to his inability to perform the said work which made the company look bad. Seeds Corporation was contracted for work in addition to the window installation and they attempted to withhold a large deposit for that unless I signed a contract releasing ************** from further liability related to the window project. ************** dismissed my concerns about the incorrect and damaging installation, saying a good ********* would cover it up with casing and leave it alone. Since then, I have found even more windows without proper flashing and incorrect framing, discovering that **************** and his crew tried to slide flashing under the windows to make it look like it was flashed correctly. When I sent pictures of the shotty work the city, the inspectors re-opened the permit and failed the inspection saying that the windows needed to be installed correctly to move on with the siding. After confronting the Seeds corporation with the newly discovered issues ******************* denied any responsibility. Absolutely despicable behavior.

we understand the frustration that the Hansens may have when replacement windows were installed the exact same way as the existing ones.  At a later time ***** opened up his walls to find the existing framing did not have ************  This is due to the fact that headers span the entire length of the room.

All work passed inspection on the second return.    this is documented.   ***** continued to bring the building department out digging for flaws in his home

Seeds desired to send the sub contractor back out to remedy   all areas that were concerning the home owners but ***** refuses to have them in His home.

Seeds has gone above and beyond to help the client by donated dumpster,  donating days of labor and even 800 dollars worth of materials.

Seeds is a faith based company that desires to serve its community. No matter what we did ***** was unfortunately never happy.

This was also evident in Coreys yelling episodes including vulgar language to the insurance company,  Menards, the window manufacturer and Seeds.

****** slander and heart to cause division has brought growth into the awareness of who God is and our need for a saviorAt seeds we hold no hard grudges and seek to redeem unity and peace.

It should be said that the 6k for the job roughly 2k was windows and the other 4k was labor.   ***** chose to use seeds because we had a sub that would do the work for 30 an hour.   This is roughly a savings of 16k.

Also, it should be noted that when windows are completely wrapped with door and window flashing tape shims are not needed as this protects frost from entering.   It is actually the better way to do it in Seeds opinion but Seeds came back on their dollar and shimmed all the windows.

The education of this process was never listened to or heard by the client.

All In All the windows were installed to code and passed by the city, period.

*********************** pulled the building permit on the Job.  In **** , this makes *********************** responsible for all work performed.

Seeds had a separate contract for the roof in which seeds increased the job 16k to the work the homeowner.   These were separate issues and money was returned in a lawful manner without charging the Hansens the ******* the contract stated they should pay..

************** acts as a contractor and never performed any of the payed work.

he did however install a door free of charge being that the Hansens are a  member  of The local church and we are called to love one another as ****** loves us

    best wishes to the Hansens

    Grace and peace
