First date of hire was May 23rd, 2023. ***** was hired to finish our basement including mudding, taping, sanding, and priming. They looked at the basement before and said they could do the work and gave no indication they couldnt handle the job. They came to our house 7 times, from May to July because they no showed or cancelled on us so many times. Because it was being so drawn out and it was hard to get a hold of them at times we asked other professionals to come look at our basement to finish the job. We had 3 additional people come look at it and told us it looked horrible and whoever did it needs to reimburse us. We contacted ***** and explained it, he came to our house and looked for himself and agreed his crew did not do a satisfactory job. He agreed for them to come fix it and not charge as much. They came to fix the parts they ruined and also finished the rest of the job. By July, they still never finished and the work they did was not good. We decided to hire someone else and they recommend we completely start over because there was irreversible damage done to all our walls. You could see tape and mud through the primer and paint on the walls. We sent ***** a picture of the damage and he agreed it was bad and noticeable. He offered to come texture it. We declined because we were told by a professional that would not hide it, it needed to be redone. We also have had such a terrible experience with Orions crew already we didnt want them back. We paid them a total of $3,871.21 and we now have to pay $2,800 to fix it. We reached out to ***** to request a conversation about getting a $3000 reimbursement for all the damage we had to fix that his crew caused. We called his personal phone, work phone, email and called his partner and he blocked my number and my husbands number, didnt return our calls or emails. This is very unfair as we were very patient with them and kind. They left us hanging with an unfinished basement and out $3000 because of them.
