I was in Seigels on Thursday September 28th at approximately 3pm and had some scrap gold jewelry to sell. But first I stopped at ****************************** in CR to get an appraisal first because Knowing that ******* has a special deal on their website call the "scrap gold program" which claims that if you can find any vendor within **************************************************************** writing that they will not only match it but give you an additional 10%.So here is my complaint. He offered me $175 for my scrap gold jewelry upon which I told him that **************** down the street had offered me $190.. He stated he would not honor the matching+ 10%,so i showed him the website for his store which claims this under their "scrap for gold program",and all he did was give me excuses and claimed..... That he's just the manager and that the owner is the one who created the website and then proceeded to give me a bunch of other excuses as to why he wasn't going to honor it which had no relevance to my situation whatsoever..So once I realized that he was serious and not joking I picked up my jewelry and went back to ******************** and sold it to them for 190$.I would like to file a formal complaint to hold them accountable to honor what their website states and to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone in the future, because if they had I would have gotten paid $209 I would like a store credit of $19 and I want them to modify their website Thank You

Hi sorry about the situation and after talking with my employee you didnt have a written offer.  Our website clearly states In fact, if you find a higher written offer from a bonafide store on your scrap gold within a 30 mile radius, we will match the offer and give you an additional 10% Credit to use in our store for purchase.
*Note- gold prices may fluctuate and offers may be adjusted up or down based upon current gold values on the day you arrive..

If you did have a written offer on the same day of arrival -Im sorry that my employee didnt get that from you.  Hopefully this will not happen again. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
