I began with my podiatrist in ******* who referred me to a local shoe store for shoes and orthotics. These did not resolve the problem and I heard many commercials about *******************************. They all assured that anyone with foot problems were able to return to normal activities.I decided to try myself on May 2, 2023. I was fit by having a foot imprint and purchased the Wellness Package. I followed the adjustment period instructions. I received some relief but not what I expected for the price paid and advertising heard. Because of that I revisited Good Feet on June 7, 2023 for an adjustment and purchase of another piece of support. Again it felt better when I left but began to have foot and leg pain by the end of summer.I was able to get an appointment on November 30, 2023 at ********************** Hospital-************************* I was examined and for the first time had X-rays taken. After X-rays I had a consult with a certified foot specialist who informed me that I didnt have neuropathy and the arthritis was very limited to the mid-top of the foot. My problem was the decrease in fat behind the toes as well as the heel. The Good Feet orthotics were not taking care of my problem because there was not enough heel support and no support for the pads behind the toes. The orthotics were half orthotics and didnt cover the pads at all. She said she does not like the partial orthotics because a full support is needed. The half supports are basically one style fits all and she has many complaints about no individual fitting. The rigid plastic covering only half the foot is not considered fit to the individual.I followed her advise and went to their orthotics division a was checked and scanned. Extra padding was added to toe heel as well as the pads behind the toes. They will be individually fit, upon my return, and adjusted as needed. If at any time they need further adjustment, that will be taken care of at the * of I Hospital at no charge.
