    I prepaid $2500. Then was directed to open roof, roof was removed and prepared foundation for work that They agreed to and signed to do , they started on roof ,just started, the tried to exstort 5000. More and wanted to fight me. I was surprised and plan to file criminal charges, also they left the job in a mess and left the house open the the elements. Now he sent me a bill for a quarter of the contracted that I prepaid $2500. to complete.

    Mike never prepaid $2500. I haven't received a dime from him. I showed and immediately Mike had a lot of extra things he was trying to get done for my original bid of $2500. I bid to just do the work on the new addition and thoroughly explained that to him before any work started. I stated I would want more money before we started that day and Mike said we will discuss it later. I took him at his word that he would pay me as we had done a real estate transaction just the prior week. After setting trusses for the entire house, not just the addition as I bid and also seeing extra work we did on the inside I asked Mike to sign the new contract. He refused and kept stating I agreed to $2500 and that would be all he was paying me. I explained everything was not described and that there is much more work than I agreed to do. He refused to pay me anything and wouldn't agree to signing the new estimate, so we packed up our things and left. I did send him a bill for $2500 and I am owed that money. I had 4 workers there from 8am-3pm.
