    HELLO  THIS *** FROM B & L TRANSMISSION ****

    *************** TO THIS COMPLAINT BY SAYING THIS ****. WAS REFERRED TO ME FROM ANOTHER TRANSMISSION **** IN ************ THAT IS RETIRING, THIS TRUCK SHOWED UP ON A FLAT BED WITH DRIVE SHAFT HANGING DOWN,IT NEEDED TO BE TIED UP BEFORE UN LOADING AND PUSHING INTO THE ***** ONCE IN THE **** WE DID AN INSPECTION FOUND FOUND REAR PINION **** FULL OFF *************** PAINTED BLACK WITH A THIN WALLED FINE THREADED NUT GLUED IN IT. WE FOUND REAR COVER SMEARED FULL OF  SILICONE SEALER, O2 SENSORS WIRED TO CROSS MEMBER, HEAT RESISTANT  TAPE ON EXHAUST PIPES COVERING HOLES IN EXHAUST, SOME KIND OF INSULATION WRAPPED AND WIRED TO MANIFOLDS, PLUG IN SIDE WALL OFF REAR TIRE,BATTERY TO BIG FOR THE TRY WEDGED IN AT AN ANGLE. WE INFORMED ****. THAT THE **** WAS NOT REUSABLE AND THAT THE REAR U JOINT NEEDED TO DE REPLACED, THE REAR SHAFT ON THIS TRUCK HAS U JOINTS NOT CV JOINTS. THE DRIVESHAFT COULD NOT BE BALANCED BECAUSE IT WAS BENT IT ALSO NEEDED A CARRIER BEARING, WE SEEN THAT THE REAR END WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL WHEN REPLACING ****,

    WE DID NOT REPLACE CRUSH SLEEVE AT THIS TIME BECAUSE WE KNEW THE REAR NEEDED REBUILT OR REPLACED,BECAUSE BACK LASH  WAY OUT OF SPECS. WHEN REBUILT DRIVE SHAFT WAS INSTALL WE TEST DROVE TRUCK AROUND BLOCK FOUND REAR DIFF. VERY LOAD. CALL ****. WITH ISSUE. WHEN HE ARRIVED I RECCOMENDED NOT TO DRIVE. ****. DROVE TRUCK ANY WAY.ABOUT 30 MINUTES LATER  IS WHEN HE CALLED SAYING TRUCK QUIT MOVING  I HAD IT TOWED BACK TO ***** THE NEXT DAY I DROVE TRUCK THAT IS WHEN I FOUND A TRANSMISSION ISSUE. WE GOT AUTH. TO REMOVE TRANS PAN, WE FOUND METAL IN PAN THAT LOOKED LIKE PLANETARY AND BUSHING MATERIAL.WE ALSO REMOVED REAR DIFF. COVER FOUND RING GEAR AND PINION IN REAL BAD SHAPE, THE TEETH WERE WORE REAL SHARP. WHICH PROVES THAT THE CRUSH SLEEVE WAS NOT AN ISSUE. I FEEL THAT WE DID ALL WE COULD WITHOUT SPENDING ****. MONEY ON PARTS NOT NEEDED. I HONESTLY DO NOT HOW THIS WAS NOT MAKING ALL KINDS OF NOISE BEFOE THE DRIVE SHAFT FELL OUT.
