    I was on the waitlist for months and nobody ever got back to me. I contacted them multiple times and they said they were short staffed and unsure of when a spot would open. They claimed to have left me voicemails but I never received them. I left a cash deposit and they said I never paid them. I paid them July 27 2021 in person. When I called they said they don't accept cash anymore but on my ******** messages to them they said they accept cash. I paid them a $150 deposit.

    I am the director here at Hope Learning Center. *************** to the complaint from ************************ 

     

    Here at Hope learning center we have a waitlist contract for families interested in attending the center. I have attached a blank contract for your reference.***** did sign and return the contract dated however they wanted to pay the deposit by card which was not an option here at the center. There were conversations dated even after the contract was signed stating the amount of the deposit that needed to be paid. The deposit was never paid. We did still call and offer a spot and left messages however she never returned the calls. After several attempts and messages not returned we had not heard from ***** again until December which was months later. When ***** called Hope in December was advised that we had left several messages that she did not return, she did sign the contract stating the rules of the contract and that any deposit that would have been paid would have been non refundable. She was also told that she did not pay the deposit. 

     

    We tried to resolve the issue with ***** ourselves by offering a spot even though she didn't pay the deposit but she was not interested in resolving anything; she only wanted a refund.

    I am rejecting this response because: I did turn in paperwork and pay a CASH deposit. There is no messages that have any relation to a deposit being paid by card, Although there is messages regarding a cash payment. I was not offered a spot at any time nor was I contacted at any point in time. I was not demanding a refund, I was demanding answers to why I had been waiting so long for a spot with no contact from Hope Learning Center.
