Not returning my call about $475 REFUND. Paid $8600 and I didn't want them to finish the due to not showing up and sloppy jog site. Dust all over my house. I have another contractor that will finish the job for the amount of $475. If we can't get it settled here small claims or attorney will be involved. Refund should be mailed ASAP and received no later than next week

    Business Response

I spoke to *** *** on Monday Feb 17th after he had texted pictures and left a voicemail on Feb 16th for us - after our conversation ** *** stated he would be getting some estimates on Thursday the 20th of February and get back in touch with me.  I have no voice mails since Feb 16th from *** *** I did receive a text message on Friday the 21st that he would be having another company finish the backsplash for $475 and would be sending us an invoice.  I am awaiting that invoice prior to giving a response.  We did work at *** ***'s along with other contractors' and upon our leaving on January 30th after completing all that we were able to (we completed all the bathroom tile and the kitchen floor tile only had to finish the backsplash tile) until the countertops and other electrical / plumbing and trim work was completed before we could install the backsplash tile - I received a call from *** *** on January 31st stating how great everything looked and he was very pleased with how everything turned out for his project so far and Tom / Gabe's work I appreciated his compliment and stated I would pass on to the crew, we discussed his countertops being installed around the 11th and we would come do the backsplash after they were completed, we had snow and closed on Wednesday Feb 12th and I notified Mike Fix no crews would be going out that day we would be coming the following day on Thursday Feb 13th he stated he would have the plumber / electrician in there but would call me as soon as they were done - I said that would work.  Tom was completed where he has and stopped by *** ***'s on Thursday afternoon to drop off backsplash tile and look at the project to see if we could do anything *** *** was working on some of the other items needed still and stated he would not be ready for awhile but would let me know when he was ready.  I was unaware of any concerns on dust until he texted on Feb 16th, at this point we had been out of the project for 2 weeks with no work from our end done since January 30th and this is a smaller home and with all remodels some dust is to be expected.  I am more than willing to refund the $475 if this is *** ***'s wishes once I receive a copy of the invoice and we can move forward from there.  I do not respond to text request for refund with out the invoice for reimbursement but once this is forwarded via email or even a text copy of the invoice I can issue. Or we can complete the project when he is ready it is up to the homeowner and his choice.
