    March 28 hired and paid retainer for ***** ******* of McGinn Law offices to file modification of decree. Sent all relevant notes and evidence to file divorce decree modification. Was told email was best way to reach ***** *******.
    April 3 sent a follow up email asking if he received all my info and for any additional needs. No response.
    April 11 called and left message asking for update. Was told he hadn’t really worked on it, but he would get an update at lunchtime and call me back. Never called.
    April 14 called again asking for update, left vm. No call back. Called back and office assistant told me to call back after I explained I was not getting any responses.
    April 14 I called back and asked for my retainer. ***** called back and apologized for being busy, said he would work on this and then proceeded to ask for all the information I’d already sent. I accepted this apology once. I had to help him find my original email.
    He stated he would update me Wednesday. Wednesday no update, Thursday no update, by Friday April 18 I had no update.
    April 18 I emailed *** ****** asking for assistance. Received no email response.
    April 18 mid day I emailed ***** and received the update:he was out tues. so couldn’t update me We’d, & that he was waiting for a call back from the attorney who I already explained refused to discuss the issue.
    April 18 called *** ****** and was sent to his voicemail. No one called me back.
    April 18 I emailed both *** ****** and ***** asking for my retainer to be returned as there was absolutely no effort, no call back, no consistency, and in 3 weeks no steps toward filing the Modification of Divorce decree which he was hired for. End of Day no response.
    I am asking for my retainer of $1000 to be returned, and they remove the advertisement on their website that claims they call back and respond quickly as this is false advertising. I am considering filing as a scam because I’ve been ignored for weeks.
