      I took an iPhone in for screen replacement. While there they told me the battery was bad as indicated by their testing machine (we were not experiencing any battery issues). We agreed to a battery replacement as well. Picked up the phone same day and appeared fine. Took the phone home and the battery would not charge. Took the phone back to batteries plus and they hooked it up to their machine and said battery was fine. Came home and still could not get the battery past 1% charge. Took the phone back and left it there for them to look at. They called and told me they could try an another battery replacement but it would be 1-2 weeks before it would be in or they could put the original parts on and provide a refund. We agreed to the refund option. They called and said the phones original parts were back on and could be picked up for refund (I have voicemail with this information). We were on vacation and actually ended up buying a new device before we went. I called the store today to ask if I could come pick it up and they had to now do some investigating. They called me back to regretfully inform me they do not see anything like this and dont even have my phone. I have voicemails saying I could come get the refund as well as original receipt. Now I am out $177 and they dont even have my phone. I want a refund and this is fraud.

      I took my first generation iPhone SE to the Batteries Plus location in *********, **, to replace the aging battery. They accidentally broke a piece inside the phone so had to ship it off to get it replaced. I left my work cell number with them to call me when it was ready for pick up. Three weeks later I called to see if phone had been fixed and returned to them. They stated they had left a voice mail message that it was ready for pickup a few days ago. I asked them what number they left the ** message on, and he rattled off the number to the phone currently being fixed and in their possession. Smart! So I finally pick up my phone and upon asking how much the bill was, he gave me the full price amount. I then asked what I received for three weeks of aggravation and was told $20 off. Wow! I paid the bill vowing never to return. I arrived home, took out my phone and noticed what I thought was a scratch, but upon closer inspection was a crack along the center of my screen. I immediately called the store, told **** the situation and he gave me a price of $79 for a new screen. I then reminded **** that Batteries plus broke the screen and was told hed give me $20 off. What kind of sham business is this and how is this store still operating? I am unhappy with every aspect of this transaction and want them to pay for another, trusted repair shop to repair my phones screen. My screen was in good shape before I put it in their possession, with the exception of a minute **** in the top left corner. If this cant be resolved by the trusted BBB, I will take them to small claims court. It is not about the money, it is about the principle!
