On January 18th, 2023, two pairs of eyeglasses were ordered at the ********* Stanton Optical Store. An inhouse exam was outsourced via teleconference for the script used in making the eyewear. After receiving the glasses, one pair was made on the wrong frame, so I returned that pair and the second pair script was off, so I returned that pair as well. In February, A second inhouse teleconference exam was done and the script was changed and one pair remade. Upon picking up the remade pair, the script was still incorrect. In March, I was then directed to have an exam at a nearby ****************** and a third pair was made. The third pair script was also off. In April I had a recheck done by the optometrist and a final pair made, which was still incorrect. In May I was told to see and Ophthalmologist, which I did, and she stated that she could not see any problems with my eyes that would change the script four times, so as this Point I returned to Stanton and told them to just refund the money and I would go elsewhere. However, because more than a month had elapsed they refused and only offered another inhouse exam and remake. At this point, they have clearly demonstrated that they cannot get the script right and a fifth remake will just be a waste of time and additional recourses. I will end up with a pair of glasses that are unusable as the previous four were. By following their instructions precisely, I have ended up with five pairs of glasses, none that work, and delay after delay. Using this as an excuse to not just refund the money is fraudulent in a manner of speaking, as, because of their recommendations, they can erroneously say I am now outside of the refund period. However, the fact of the matter remains, I have glasses that don't work and are thus defective, and in each case, I returned those defective products within 30 days.
