      The worse mistake was this company buying out the roanoke times! The people that work for the ******* times breaks contracts continuously and if there is a issue then and you complain to *** enterprise then the roanoke times terminates you for it! I have proof of the contract being broken multiple times and they contact other people regarding your contract instead of you and that's against the law as well as retaliation. This place is awful to work for! I am going to be getting harassment charges on ***** **** and ****** ****** as well as retaliation because I have more than enough proof that she followed me on the routes and ******* ******** is the one that contacted my boyfriend to tell him I was terminated but it doesnt say anywhere on the contract to contact someone else to terminate someone. I have also been charged a lot more then what I was suppose to be charged but no body wants to fix the issues. There is plenty of times I wasnt paid right but I know I will never see that money till legal actions are involved.

      I'm 2 years in to trying to cancel paper delivery. I do not have an account but the prior owners did. Despite multiple calls and emails, they refuse to stop delivering papers daily to my house. Thankfully neighbors pick the trash up when we are out of town as they refuse to assist.

      As Minor states, he doesn't have an account with *** **********************. The active account belongs to the previous owners at the address. However, without additional information, such as the property address or name of the previous owner, we are unable to cancel the account and stop deliveries.

      The paper did not let us make revisions to my mother's obituary before posting as there were items that needed edited. When asked about it, was told that they could not fix it but would issue a refund. With that being said, 3 months later, a dozen emails/phone calls, was told yes, we need to take care of this. There is much more that transpired but a mood point. The last email sent, I shared with them, all they had to do, is to apologize and have the person who errored, send an apology also. No apology and unacceptable customer service.Called for help before even submitting the obit and was told, just follow the website and form. Well I am not rocket scientist but I fill out a form that was not user friendly as I had 2 others look at it. It saddens me the lack of customer service is becoming the norm.

      The obituary was refunded for the full amount. That refund was credited back to the card.

      I have received 4 phone calls wanting me to renew my subscription and they said it expired April 12. I paid for it every 10 weeks and I have a history of this and the last time I paid was 3/3/2025. Now they say it expires 5/525/25 but it is no telling how much *** Enterprises have collected because people don't keep accurate records. I told them this is double billing for the same services and they are always calling from off shore. I asked them to put the expiration date on my dashboard (on line) or put in somewhere on my profile so individuals would know when their subscriptions expire but they have yet to do this. They want to keep double billing individuals and they should be investigated.

      I wish I could give a lower rating. I canceled my subscription on 1/30/2025 and have continued to be charged. When I call I get no help. I have the email confirmation that my subscription was cancelled but it means nothing. Ive been billed for February and March, cannot access the paper online and can get no assistance. I am very frustrated, want a refund, and want my subscription cancelled.

      We signed up for subscription, but they give you no way to cancel it online, Instead, you must call them and wait on hold to speak to someone in a call center, which they never answer. It is totally unacceptable to entrap people into a subscription like this.

      I subscribed just to access an article I was featured in and intended to cancel right after, as I dont live in the area and the local news is irrelevant to me. The cancellation process was a nightmare. I called to cancel, but was repeatedly transferred between customer service agents who all asked the same questions: Why are you canceling? and Can I offer you this promo? They kept me on hold for extended periods, and by the time I reached the last agent, I was beyond frustrated from having to repeat myself. When I finally requested a cancellation confirmation via email, I was told they dont send thoseyet they had no problem emailing me when I subscribed. Ridiculous and frustrating experience!

      Would like a clarification of their subscription prices. I am paying over $1,000 per year for my subscription (I've been a subscriber for almost 50 years). I just noticed in one of the "Readers' Forum" letters that a gentleman is paying $278 per year for his subscription! I would like that rate and a refund for all the years they have been overcharging me.

      We have changed the customers rate to the current rate for new subscriptions, $395 ($422.87 with tax) for 52 weeks. We have also added a year credit, his new expiration date is 12/21/26.


      Please be advised that the Winston-Salem ******* has different packages and frequency of delivery options, such as Digital Only,Sunday Only, Mail Delivery only, etc., and $278 is not a rate that is being offered for a 7-day carrier delivery.

      The company - McDowell County News in ******, ** is a SCAM and trying to get your money!!!!They get you on their Digital subscription for 1.50 and then go up to ***** for a DIGITAL subscription.... Ridiculous!!!! SCAMMERS!!!! RIP OFF!!!!!

      Have contacted ******** News and Record at least 7 times in order to receive refund for fraudulent charges.I was charged $10.99 on April 22, 2024 and another $10.99 on May 04, 2024 for newspapers I never received.Spoke with same young lady all times who assured me that a refund was forth coming. Unfortunately she was wrong.

      The refund was requested on 8/7, but was Rejected/Declined on 8/8 by the credit card. Our system doesn't tell us why it was declined. We will remove the card from our system and request the refund in the amount of $21.98 to sent by check. It will take 4-6 weeks to receive it.
