    On 05/22/2025 I took my vehicle to olderog for maintenance and when I got it back it was worst than it was when I brought it in. I believe they damaged my vehicle and refused to fixed their mistake and now I'm without a vehicle because of their mistake and I just want them to be responsible for what they did to my vehicle

    Hello,

          I received a call from ******* Significant other in regards to their 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan.  The complaint over the phone was they have a MAP sensor bad again.  I looked into our records to find that we had replaced a MAP sensor in their vehicle 08/29/2023.  She then stated she had reached out and spoke with another employee of mine in regards to this MAP and was told it was no longer under warranty.  I instructed her to go ahead and have the vehicle towed to my location.  When the vehicle arrived we began Diagnosing the lack of power/drivability issues.  After scanning the vehicle we cam across 15 different codes/issues with the vehicle.  **** gave the customer an option to repair the vehicle but was told they didn't have the money to do all of the repairs.  When looking at several issues on the scanner **** suggested to try the throttle body.  The throttle body looked to take care of the majority of the issues.  The customer asked if they could pay for half of the throttle body and the other half when they got paid next.  We generally do not allow customers to make partial payments but **** chose to do so.  After the new throttle body was replaced the vehicle had an active throttle at an idle.  After test driving the vehicle under load the additional issues kicked the vehicle back into a limp mode.  **** had heard the customer on the phone with an additional party yelling aggressively.  **** then instructed my technician to remove the new throttle body and put the old throttle body back on the vehicle.  **** then refunded the money to the customer and chose that it would be best if we were to part ways.  The vehicle left with the same exact parts/issues it came with.  Thanks, Josh

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I believe they did more damage to my vehicle than before because all of a sudden there's more codes coming up than before? I took it in that morning and there wasn't that many codes and now after they messed with it supposedly there's "extra codes" I find that suspicious. I'll like them to take responsibility for their mess up and now I'm without a vehicle because obviously they didn't know what they were doing
    Sincerely,

    ***** *******

    **Extremely Disappointing Experience Unfinished Work**In October, I took my 1978 ***** C10 ******** truck to Olderog for repairs (fuel pump and fuel line). After weeks of constant calls to check on the status, I received nothing but excuses. I was told there were too many wires, they didnt know where to start, they only had two employees, needed to harvest beans, and repeatedly promised my truck would be moved from the parking lot and worked on the next day. On one occasion, I was told I had to wait a week for a pipe ****** to bend a fuel line. Throughout this two-month period, I only received one call from Olderog, despite calling them weekly for updates.Finally, after calling again, I was told my truck was ready for pickup. I was charged for replacing the fuel pump, fuel line, 8 spark plugs, spark plug wire set, a new ignition cap and rotor, plus two labor charges. When I inspected the truck, it was clear none of the spark plug wires had been replaced my original wires were still in place, and the ignition cap and rotor also appeared untouched. I was charged over $300 for work that wasnt done. initial charge was $635.04 When I attempted to drive the truck, it repeatedly died seconds after starting, and the engine was smoking with the idle set too high. After some adjustment, I was told the truck was ready for the road. But when I finally drove it home, the truck wouldnt accelerate, topped out at 30 MPH, and died on me three times while waiting at traffic lights. To top it off, a new metal-on-metal clanking noise started after just a few blocks of ********** the end, I waited two months, had the cost adjusted three times to reflect the work completed, and am now left with a truck that is still not running properly, with additional issues that werent addressed. I cannot recommend Olderog the lack of communication, unfinished work, and failure to properly fix my truck after two monthshave been incredibly frustrating.

    On 12-12-2020, I had a brake line failure and hired Olderog to replace the brake lines in my ***** Silverado. They agreed to do the job for just under a thousand dollars. On 09-20-2022, I had another brake line failure on the truck, and after it was towed to a repair shop, it was discovered that Olderog had not replaced multiple brake lines on that truck that they charged me for doing. The second failure came very close to causing the deaths of two human beings. When I brought the matter to Olderog's attention, they refused to rectify the matter, or to reimburse me for the towing and new repair bill. The truck still has an original brake line on it and cannot be driven due to the extreme risk of another brake line failure which could easily prove to be catastrophic.

    ***** had come to Olderog Tire and Performance for his initial brake line repair 12/08/2020.  Keep in mind his 20 year old ***** had ******* miles on it at the time it was brought to us on 12/08/2020.  At this time we replaced 2 metal brake lines, a front caliper, and bled the brake system.  This truck has several brake lines.  We were paid to replace 2.  Now 2 years and 9 months from the initial repair one of the other 4-6 brake lines that were not repaired is leaking.  Just from an average of miles from when it was brought to ** this truck probably has roughly ****** more miles on it from the date of the repair.  Here in the ************* the elements of the roads especially during winter conditions cause brake lines to rust and eventually fail.  Thanks, *********;

    I am rejecting this response because: I paid then just shy of a thousand dollars to replace all of my brake lines. What shop charges a thousand dollars to replace just two? They actually insisted that it was an all or nothing job, and they did it in front of a witness, thank God!
    Sincerely,
