I had them come out to fix a residential Liftmaster garage door. They fixed the cable pulley quickly but then started throwing parts at it because the door would come down but immediately go back up. They came back several more times changing parts and the fourth time they came, they told me it needed a new circuit board or they could install a new opener that was one of their products. Talked to the tech and specifically asked him if this additional $660 for their new unit was going to be in addition to the $700+ I already spent. He said Ill call the office and confirm. He called me back and assured me it wasnt. So instead of paying more to have more parts thrown at it I had them put their product on. Ultimately it was a lie and cost more money in addition to the money I had already payed. Talked to the manager and she said she was busy when the tech called so thats why the miscommunication. She knocked off couple hundred but I still felt taken advantage of for them to sell me their own product. Feel like unless you own one of their products dont use them. Their troubleshooting skills are only as good as them calling the manufacturer and getting advice from them on what parts to change out. I could do that much myself!

***** this is an unfortunate review after everything we tried to do for you and work with you. Your operator was 10+ years old. We were called for a door not working and fixed that issue. Upon fixing the door it was revealed that something internally inside your operator was bad. We asked you if you wanted to fix it or go with a new unit, the choice was yours. We do not push anything on anyone. We determined what is was that was failing and verified with the manufacturer. If verifying with the manufacturer about the part that was was bad is poor troubleshooting, I guess I would like to meet someone that knows everything. After replacing the part, it was determined another component failure in this older operator. Then we spoke and agreed to not bill for the time AND material already spent if you wanted to go ahead with a new operator. This did not include the original service call which was fixing the door itself. All this was communicated with you multiple times. There was no taking advantage of someone when you were aware of what was going on the entire time. We are sorry you feel this way. If you would like to discuss further please call our office.

I called them to come out to repair my garage door. I cancelled the appointment because the garage door began to work. Told them to cancel the service call. They proceeded to bill me saying they came and "lubed" the door. They did no such thing. This is fraudulent act and I will never call this company again.

Steve ************ called Overhead Door on a holiday weekend and left a message. The service call was written up when the office opened on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. The service techs arrived at his house at 10:30 a.m. They called Mr. ************ when they were finished to let him know the status but he did not answer the phone. Mr. ************ called Overhead Door again on December 28th to advise that he will be gone from 11 - 12 that day but he will be home in the afternoon and that the operator only works part of the time then it will stop. The techs called at 2:05 pm to let Mr. ************ know they were on the way but no one answered. Then the techs called the office and asked them to call Mr. ************ and no one answered for the office personnel either. The techs called Mr. ************ again on December 30th and so did the office, but there was no answer. The techs called again on January 5, 2023, and Mr. ************ answered and said he was cancelling the call because the operator works. Mr. ************ was billed a partial amount for the service call on December 27, 2022. We have GPS tracking to verify our data.
Fraud is an extremely dangerous accusation.
