  This company brought a dumpster to my residence I filled it with metal they picked it up a day later I called them 2 wks later and they said there was sum wood in the dumpster and the owner was going to figure out how much it weighed 6 months later have not heard a word from them and have never received a check from them now there phones are out of order. And they won't respond to a email I sent

  This complaint was paid last Friday 3/28/2025.  This claim could have been paid sooner if ******* would have just came to our office directly.  We apologize that our phone service was down, but that was a problem on MediaCom's end.  *********** was fully restored last week.  He could of called the office yesterday 03/31/2025 & spoke with me or my secretary.

  His ticket weighed 2.62 ton.  We were paying $25.00 per ton for Scrap Iron/Tin in October 2024.  I was ordered to deduct 0.62 ton ($12.50) for 1 Refrigerator (Normal Recycling Fee $20), 1 Tire (Normal Recycling Fee $5.00), Wood, Dirt & Weeds. He was paid for 2 ton, for a total of $50.00.

  This could have been handled if ******* would  have came to the office.  He also could have called ******, the Owner on his cell phone.

  We consider this matter closed.

  Not once have you mentioned having dropped off 8 batteries in July before on any of your negative reviews about D&L Metal Recycling LLC.  You are welcome to come to the office & collect the $4.80 owed to you for 8 batteries.  (Auto batteries weigh on average 30 pounds, the price per pound in July 2024 was 2 cents per pound, so each battery is worth 60 cents).  We will not issue a check to you for the $4.80, if you wish to receive payment, our hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

  I should remind you that we didn't charge you the full price to recycle your Refrigerator & Tire.  Technically we have already paid you.

  However, stop by the office at your earliest convenience.  Their will be an envelope waiting for you.
