    Nor being paid is one thing, not being able to get in touch with a human for days and days is another. I am 64 years old and i have never had so much difficulty getting in touch with a human. I called their main number several times, provided the relevant phone number, to hear a few short rings and then be told via animated voice "we are unable to take your call at this time. Thank you for calling Safelite". I am calling from a dealership that has done the work, collected the deductible from the customer, and gone on line providing the info needed. If I did something incorrectly, it would have been nice to be informed of such as i provided multiple contact options. I will not accept work from this company again

    I am a body shop, and these guys are a Horrible Business that insurance companies use for their glass claims. They have no telephone number to speak with someone to resolve issues. The last job I did was a month and a half ago and I still haven't gotten paid. Their approval process is a joke, and they don't pay per the current standard of windshield pricing. I have worked with this company for over 10 years, and they have constantly gouged my rates and windshield prices where I barely break even on the work I do. It has gotten so bad that I finally had to make the decision to not accept jobs from Safelite Solutions. Several other shops have done the same thing. Now I make the customer pay out of pocket and seek direct reimbursement from their insurance companies. Funny thing about it is I contacted the insurance company to speak with them about Safelite solutions. They all recognize that body shops and glass shops are not happy with the rates of pay and how Safelite Solutions operate by constantly gouging the body shops and their customers, but yet they continue to use them. How do they ***** their customers? If the shops charge more than what Safelite Solutions approve, the customer has to pay out of pocket. This is not right. The point of having insurance is they cover the costs of repairs when needed minus the selected deductible. People need to start filing complaints against insurance companies and Safelite Solutions. This is poor business practices and at the end of it all, we as the consumers are the ones that pay for it. Do not use Safelite Solutions and demand your insurance pay direct to the body shops or shops doing your glass repair; well, unless you enjoy paying your insurance premiums, your deductible, and more out of pocket on top of that.
