    9/2020 we entered a contract with Rock Shop Granite and Marble. Contract was for purchase, delivery, installation, tear out and disposal of old counter top. Down payment of $2,950 was given. 11/2020 quartz counter top was installed and final payment of $2,955.30 was given,.My wife, just out of hospital was dealing with long hauler covid issues so we didn't advise ******* (owner) of defects in the island quartz counter until 7/21/2021.8/2021 ******* and Midwest Specialty Products(distributor) inspected counter and acknowledged multiple defects in island counter..Distributor representative tries to remove marks by scrubbing with a cleaner. No positive results.For the nest several months ******* attempts to get manufacturer and distributor to cover all replacement costs for new counter. Manufacturer and Distributor decline all responsibility and blame customer (us) for all visible marks on counter. ******* refuses to honor contract of providing an acceptable product. Her posistion is "My company did not cause the marks so I am not going to absorb costs or replacement."
