I had this plumber stop by my house when he was on his way to another job! He was at my house for 10 to 15 minutes at a plumbing is*** i was having at which time I was he couldn't help me and he advised me to do the work myself which I did. I offered to pay him something for his time at which point he said they will be no bill since customer did the work. Then he sent me an original bill for over $500 so I called him and he told me to disregard the bill then he turned around and sent me a bill for just over $200 so i called him again and was told the same. Now once in awhile I'm still getting a bill from him with a different amount each time. Now he's threatening to put a lien against me and I need to know if I should *** him or let your office handle this before the lien or law suit is filed. I offered to give him cash while he was here which he declined and told me no worries because he didn't do no work then off he went to his next job. I feel like I'm being harassed and would like it to stop. I'd even be willing to send him $100 for his time and have this matter stop! You can clearly see on the bill stating i did the work not him.

    Business Response

As often there is, there are typically two views to same story. This company is part of the trade industries such as electricians, auto repair shops, plumbers, and HVAC etc. which are prone to getting calls from people asking for free advice. Often the view of how valuable the time (and travel if applicable) is different between the parties involved. This company has been proudly built with a long and extensive history of word-of-mouth referrals from happy customers. It is a shame that this transaction was not acceptable to both parties. I see an offer was made to send $100 to our company. We would accept that as final payment on the matter upon receipt.
