      I have the desire to resolve this very noisy Carrier central residential air conditioner system purchased thru Hudson Hardware, Plumbing and Heating. Compressor is defective.April 18, 2023, Payment check #**** $2289.87 April 20,2023 Scheduled Install.April 25,2023 Installed June 12, 2023, Final payment check #**** $2000.00. Notice excessive noise after final payment. First 3 weeks of *** was mild and air conditioning was not needed. My actions to resolve were several phone calls, written request and mailed videos.       The billing date of my service is 12/30/2022 the invoice is #*****. The original service call was for fixing an in-wall heating and cooling unit that had stopped working in an addition on my home. I also wanted to find out about the replacing the power vented water heater that no longer worked for the in-floor heating in this addition. The power vented water heater for the in-floor heat had not been working for 2 years. I was given a verbal quote from *********************** over the phone that it would be $400 to replace the control panel in the wall unit, $1000 to replace the entire unit, and $4000 to put in a new on-demand boiler for the in-floor heat, since a power vented water heater was no longer to code for in-floor heating. I assumed that I would be changed sales tax in addition to these quotes. When I got my bill from Hudson Hardware Plumbing & Heating for installing the new on-demand boiler for my in-floor heating it was for $4769.87 which includes labor, materials, and tax. This is $489.87 more than I had been quoted. I have tried to resolve this with **** and have met with him. The owner *********************** has not returned my calls when I asked to speak to him about my bill. Since I didnt get the quote in writing (I will never do that again!), I have nothing to back up my claim and they have refused to bill me ******* which I believe the bill should be and have thus just now paid this bill for $4769.87. Please note that on the invoice there is a mistake of an additional $333.89 in sales tax which was removed when I originally called to dispute this bill.
