    Had an interview over zoom scheduled for today (july 8th 2024) and received an email from a separate person telling me she was in HR. And asked me for paystubs or tax information. I politely declined as that didnt seem appropriate as I was just looking for a job at four oaks. After telling them I was uncomfortable I received another email then canceling my interview because I didnt provide that information. I believe this to be a scam. *** had a lot of interviews and a lot of jobs and Ive NEVER been asked to send proof or a paystub from jt previous employer.

    At *********, we have a robust hiring process. Many positions, at the organization, have required education and experience qualifications due to contracts. Due to this, verifications of employment are conducted early in the hiring process. The agency tries to obtain this information in a variety of ways: past employer phone or email verifications and requests to the applicant for assistance. Some forms that could be requested from the applicant is a redacted paystub or any other document that can verify employment. In this situation,  Human Resources reached out via email to the applicant requesting a paystub or other suitable ways which the applicant declined. The hiring manager did cancel the interview due to employment not able to be verified. 

    Desired Settlement Response:

    I would be happy to schedule time with the applicant to discuss further her concerns and share more about this process. We apologize for any confusion this has caused.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was treated negatively and I wasnt confused even in the slightest. I was told to hand over pay stubs with information on it I didnt feel comfortable with and I told them that. I didnt decline I said I wasnt comfortable. I got ZERO response from HR instead I had my interview simply canceled. The lack of professionalism was astonishing. And now to try and me look like the one at fault, to me, thats CRAZY. you guys wasted my time and energy on this. Let me remind you I had no confusion. I was disrespected. And I didnt decline I gracefully stated Im not comfortable sending my paystub. Again they didnt ask for it to be redacted. Nor does the position I applied for require any schooling.
