    Original date of membership cancelation request due to injury- July 20th.I requested my membership with Anytime Fitness be canceled, since I cant exercise due to injury. When I signed on, they told me I could cancel if I was injured.I contacted the club and they gave me the email to their *** financial customer care center. (************************************************************************** then contacted the email provided, stating my injury/issue and wishes to cancel. I originally sent a letterhead and letter from my employer confirming said injury.They declined and said they want me to have a doctors note with a signature, number and place of business.My doctor then emailed me a doctors note with the details they requested. I forwarded said email to them and requested cancellation. They declined me again and claimed that the letter from my employer isnt sufficient. Even though I gave them a doctors note.Later on, as shown in pictures, they said all they need is a note from a physician with a signature, and phone number. I stated that I had already sent them that, and that the doctors note had everything they needed on it, and sent it again to them. Declined again, even though it had what they needed. I am injured and shouldnt have to pay for a fitness membership I literally cant use. Especially since I gave them all the things they asked for in order to cancel. Seems like they are trying to scam people of their money. They have made it impossible for me to cancel. I blocked their payments through my bank, but am afraid that any charges unpaid will go to collections, which is why I want the membership to be officially cancelled as the solution to this issue. I plan on never returning to Anytime Fitness because of these issues, even when I am healed, and they are no longer allowed to charge me through my bank. Which means they have no reason to NOT cancel my membership, except to scam and be unreasonable.
