    In Aug. 2022, Adam Builders was subcontracted by Spalsh Pools to install the concrete deck around our fiberglass pool. Their workmanship has of very poor quality. The deck was bowed and prevented the autocover from closing. They failed to put the releasing agent in the mold for the coping causing the mold to stick to the concrete coping. They tried to pry the mold off and chipped our fiberglass. The coping also cracked and crumbled. They spilled concrete in all the anchor holes preventing installation of the safety rail, anchor covers, and basketball/ volleyball poles. They didnt fix anything after repeated calls and emails to by Splash and us. They just walked away, never sent us a bill, and Splash Pools told us not to pay them if they did send us a bill.We recently received a bill from Adam Builders 1 1/2 years later for $5000. They are taking us to small claims court. We received bids from 2 other reputable concrete companies in the ********* area to repair/replace the damaged coping and deck. Both companies said it would be necessary to remove the entire deck and replace it. The bids ranged between $25,000 and $30,000. Adam Builders is aware of the additional cost to us and is still taking us to small claims court. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
