We had the unfortunate experience of working with Vogue Builders, and I couldn't be more disappointed with the entire process from start to finish. Their lack of transparency was evident from the start with shady invoicing, leaving us kept in the dark about every aspect of the build. The finishes are nothing short of low budget (Amazon), as if they cut every corner possible to save a few dollars on their end while charging us a premium. It's clear that they hired the cheapest contractors available, resulting in shoddy work throughout the home. What's worse is how they repeatedly reneged on their promises throughout the build. They even had the audacity to withhold a promised $1000 at closing due to the missed close date and 15 days of hotel stays (since our home sold) Showcasing a complete lack of integrity and leaving their realtor to pay $500 out of his own pocket because he felt so bad. (He also does not represent them anymore). But the nightmare didn't end there. Upon moving in, we discovered that the entire main floor had to be ripped out and relayed due to their blatant shortcuts during construction. The post-move repairs continued as the master shower and floors in all bathrooms had to be ripped out as well, all thanks to their low cost laborers craftsmanship. Windows, fixtures, trim, deck - you name it, nothing is level ,square or properly constructed. The walls themselves seem to defy the laws of geometry, they're so out of plum. It's abundantly clear that their choice of trim carpenters reflects their penchant for hiring subpar contractors, further highlighting their ignorance and lack of oversight in the home building industry. As if living in a house riddled with issues wasn't enough, they managed to botch the yard and landscaping too. Half of the sod died, and the front and backyard weren't properly graded or backfilled, leaving a huge hole in the front yard. Even the 3 trees we paid extra for were planted crooked and not in a straight line.
