My father in law was a resident at the Memory Unit at Clover Ridge Place. We received his monthly bill for *** in April and noticed there was an increase of monthly charge for the end of March and all of ****** We had not received a notice from them about the increase and when questioned *** about it said we had been sent a letter which we never received. I asked for a copy of the letter which she brought down to my father in laws room which did not look like the last increase letter which we received. *** stated it was a good thing I had asked for this because the increase wasn't suppose to start until ***. The increase was to go from $5800.00 to $6322.00 a month. My father in law passed away on April 24, 2023. I have been going around with them ever since about being over charged for 4 days in March and for ****** They also charge you for 15 day after he died which we had missed in the paper work. When asked they said he passed away on April 26th, I said no he died April 24 and we had his room cleaned out that afternoon, so the 15 days should start there. There billing is hard to follow. I have been contacting them about every other week, and always same thing, they know we have money coming back and have there accounting working on it, always the next day. Clover Ridge is owned by ********************* in ************, ************************* is Chairman. He even called me on *** 30th and said this would be taken care of. My last email from ***** last Monday said this would be taken care right away and I would get a daily update, have not heard anything since. My father in law has been deceased for 3 months now, you would think they could figure this out. I also said he was getting the extra charge for care at $625.00 which after the 24th was not getting extra care so shouldn't be charged for that for the 15 days. Not sure if you can help me, didn't know where else to turn. I have copies of bills and emails. Thank you *******************
