On 9/6 our lawn was aerated, but not overseeded. The company has been contacted via phone, in writing and by email and still claim to have overseeded. We paid them $106.85 for the aeration service we received, but not the $275 charged for overseeding, because it was never done. We believe it was a step that was simply forgotten.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/13/2024

On 6/26/2024 we were approved to remove invasive grasses off of the property by spraying a non selective herbicide killing the invasive grasses and then aerating and seeding those areas in the fall. Total square footage of the invasive grass spray was approximately 2400 square feet with the entire property being 6240 square feet. Price was given for invasive grass spray at $75.00 each done twice. These were completed on July 10th and August 4th. At the time of the quote in **** ***** was informed that before the aeration and seeding was performed in September that all dead grass remaining in the spots would need to be removed. On September 6th at 1330, the owner arrived at the property and found that none of the dead grass had been removed as he instructed the clients to do. He did the aeration over the entire property and quadruple aerated the dead spot areas to attempt to break up the dead grass for seeding. The aerator we use has a seed box attached to it so as we are aerating it is dropping seed at the same time. The job was completed at *************************************************************************************************************************************************** June 2024. The *********** was ran at the end of the day and it was denied. It was attempted 2 more times and denied each time. No other time before this was the customers CC denied when running. Only this time. A month later my office professional followed up with the client for payment and informed him the card was declined. At this time he said the seeding wasn't done. The owner talked to Mr ******* on the phone on the 7th of October and informed him that the seeding was done. Mr ******* again says it wasn't because he didn't see any seed on the pavement or sidewalk. The owner informed him he would not see seed on paved surfaces because after the job was completed and leaf blower was used to blow all material back onto the grass. The owner asked Mr ******* if he had been watering as instructed and he said no.

The non watering by the customer along with no following the directions of not removing the dead grass as instructed is the reason the customer may assume he wasn't seeding because he doesn't see grass seed coming up. That is 100% the fault of the customer. This outstanding bill will be payed or we will be pursing legal actions through the court system for resolution including filing fees with small claims court.

Attachments are all picture after the areas were seeded and aerated. If you zoom in on the pics you can clearly see seed in the dead areas.
