    We purchased a washer and dryer with a 5 year warranty totaling $2091.85 from Star Appliance on 2/1/2024. They installed the washer and dryer on 2/7/24. The washer did not work so they replaced it the same day. The dryer was making a squeaky noise from the moment of installation. On 2/28/2024, I called Star Appliance and spoke to ****** to report the noise. 3/5/24 a guy came out to fix the dryer. He knew exactly what the problem was but did not have the parts. 3/12/24 I called ****** to see when repair tech would be out and let them know about the rust in the back of the drum of the dryer. 3/21/24 repair guy put 2 new rollers in the dryer to fix noise. I let him know about the rust around the back of the drum in the dryer. 3/26/24 I called ****** to see how they will address the rust in the dryer. She said she just sent pictures to ** that day. 4/3/24 I called to follow up on dryer. Got run around. 4/23/24 repair guy came out to change drum in dryer. 4/30/24 I called ****** to let them know drum makes loud noise like sneakers rolling around. ****** ordered new dryer. 5/14/24 I called again to check status. ****** was gone. 5/17/24 I called again. Left message. 5/21/24 I called again. Left message. 5/24/24 I called again spoke to ******. 6/1/24 repair guy installed new dryer. 8/21/24 the dryer vent is ripped open and pin holes everywhere in the vent. Plus it is starting to rust again. I called Star Appliance. They are temporary closed. Their phone voicemail is full and not accepting new calls. This is why I got the warranty. So many issues and now it seems they are out of business. If they are out of business, I would like the $300 back for the 5 year warranty. If they are still in business, at least fix the dryer vent. Thank you.
