  It truly saddens me to see horribly, negative reviews of Mitchell Family Funeral Home. I have known ***** on a personal level for 39+ years. I spent a great amount of time with his family growing up, as his sister and I are best friends. ***** has always been a big brother to me, and I love him (and the rest of the family) like they were blood relatives. The person that is being described in the negative review is not the ***** that I grew up knowing, or the ***** that I know now. He is the most kind, compassionate, caring individual that I have ever met. He does so much for anyone that walks through the doors of the funeral home and for the community as a whole. His staff members are much like him, caring and compassionate, and will do all they can to help someone out. On a professional level, let me say that I have never seen someone go above and beyond the way the staff at Mitchell Family Funeral Home does. In 2019, while my mom was in a nursing home, ***** came to the nursing home and sat with my parents and I, and planned their funerals, so that when the time came, I wouldn't have to worry. He was so patient and kind. When, in 2020, I lost my Mom, he was so helpful to Dad and I. He made sure that everything was perfect to honor Mom. Three weeks later, I lost my father. I was so lost. ***** and his staff stepped up and helped me with everything. ***** literally held my hand and walked me through this process once again. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. I have had the unfortunate experiences of having to attend many funerals. Every funeral that I have attended at Mitchell's has been nothing short of perfect, with the most caring and compassionate individuals.

  It is sincerely unfortunate that such a negative review of the impeccably professional services that Mitchell Family Funeral Home provides to our community would be based on personal bias rather than fact or truth. I simply cannot remain silent anymore. Obviously, I am biased because I'm *****'s sister, but I state facts that countless others in our community would wholeheartedly agree with. To say the staff goes above and beyond is an understatement. They all strive to offer the services every family wishes to have, with extra attention to personalization while maintaining respect for the resources available to the family. I have reached out to ***** and their staff on many occasions in which my family and friends were in need of their guidance and services. They did so with deep compassion, and for that I will be forever grateful. I am proud to be *****'s sister, to be a part of a family that is strong in our dedication to each other. And we, as a family, are proud to include the staff as an extension of our own family. Anyone who truly knows *****, knows the depth of his character and his unwavering integrity. He is surrounded by a staff who share those same attributes of character and integrity. Thank you, each and every one of you, for all you do for our community - you are appreciated more than you will ever know! Though I may not be as articulate in my words as *****, I hope that I have conveyed my sincere gratitude in a way that makes them feel as loved as they are by those they have served so well.

  For a funeral home this place is beautiful! It is very nicely decorated, clean and updated. The staff made us feel very comfortable and compassionatly guided us through arrangements for both of my grandparents. When you lose someone you love it can be hard enough to get out of bed in the morning let alone plan a funeral. The staff here made the process simple. Highly Recommend!

  I would give this rating 5 stars if the owner of this establishment was as good of a dad as he portrays he is for this community! Employing someone who has made other woman feel violated and keeping them employed after they told your DAUGHTER IN LAW to kill herself is even more sickening! Wont be me supporting this establishment! I would rather be sent down the river in a cardboard box than have encounters with the awful staff employed here!
