      Deception from the BEGINNING - heartbreaking to us as we have been loyal customers for years and years. There was no remedy and now we are STUCK with a sectional that had/has malfunctioning recliners that, that at the time, the salesman blamed on the 'flooring in their display window.' Believing him, (my mistake), in faith and locality, we paid CASH for the sectional on November 25, 2024 - which was $2093.99, including the delivery fee. After a week - 10 days, the recliners continued to malfunction and we could not use them at all. We contacted the store including **** ******** - leaving messages as well as speaking with ****** and ******* to see what could be done. My husband is on disability - we needed a purchase that worked. They were going to send a repair person and that fell through. We were encouraged then to upgrade to an ELECTRIC set and higher purchase, because ******* admitted, 'These don't work well because they are not electric'. Yet, he told us it was because of the 'floor in the show case window' when we bought it on Nov 25th. We did pay $2140.00 more - in CASH for an upgrade. We didn't order the color on the floor as ******* said it would take ***** weeks. So, we ordered a different color. We waited for the delivery - and ****** reached out and asked if we wanted them to pick up the new one we still had in our family room. I was willing to do so, even if it left a gap in space, but wanted to do whatever was necessary and right! They could give me no answer to tell me when the upgrade would be delivered. Days later - we received a message stating it would be ***** weeks before we could get the new order. I told them we wanted to cancel the order and they could come and get the first one because it was totally UNUSED, again, because of the malfunction. They did refund $2140 on the new order, and now state it's been past 15 days for the first one and CANNOT do anything. WE were duped! It's BRAND NEW and we cannot use it. Heartbreaking.

      I agree with ******* B's review of buyer beware of ********** Furniture. In all transparency, ******* is my sister so we have the same story. Before I go further I want to say that the employees at the ******* store are not the problem. This review is solely about the owner **** ******** and how she does business. Here's a brief recap of my mom's story. She ordered a loveseat on 5/15/24 from the Ottumwa store with delivery in 6-8 weeks. I went to the Ottumwa store on 8/6/24 because we had no loveseat. I spoke with the owner, **** ********, who said she thought the fabric was backordered and would check on it and let me know the next day. No call came so I called the store on 8/8/24 and they confirmed fabric was backordered. I called and left messages for **** 6 more times from 8/22/24 - 9/26/24 and my calls have not been returned. My mom got tired of waiting and cancelled the order on 9/3/24. Refund checks were supposedly sent on 9/6/24 and 9/18/24 but they have not arrived. The response by ********** to ******* B's review is filled with lies. The store NEVER reached out to update my mom on anything. At no point did they offer to cancel the order and give a full refund. On 9/14/24 my mom was told the refund check was mailed on 9/6/24(the store gave her a receipt with that information on it) not 9/10/24 as the response says. On 9/17/24 my mom went into the store and the owner was there and she demanded her money back. She did NOT yell at the **** or ****** but she did raise her voice to the owner as she is 81 and tired of the getting the run-around. ****** response was to shame my mom and threaten to call the cops on her. As of today, 9/26/24, my mom still has NOT received her refund check so the customer has NOT been refunded in full.

      Buyer beware of ******** Furniture. My mother ordered a loveseat from the *******, **** store the first of May. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks delivery time. Ok, no problem. It is now September 18th and no loveseat. We have been told over and over, two weeks, two weeks, two weeks. At one point one of my sisters did speak with the store owner, *************************. During that conversation we were again told two weeks. On September 3rd we asked for a full refund. The Ottumwa store filled out the request and said a check would be mailed on the 6th. No check has been received. ************************* refuses to answer our calls or emails. My mother, who is 81, encountered **** at the ******* store on September 17th and demanded her money back. **** threatened to call the police and have her removed. Nice way to do business...

      The vendor had a fabric delay that was beyond our control.  We kept the customer informed of the delays, but they blamed us each time the fabric was delayed and told us we were lying to them.  We always gave them the latest information from the vendor and we cannot help this information changed.  We gave them the option throughout the delay to cancel the order and receive a full refund, but they chose to wait.  In early September, we finally cancelled the order and sent a refund check on 9/10.  The customer came into the store on 9/17 again yelling at the staff and said they had not received the check.  I put a stop payment on that check and re-issued a new check on 9/18.  The customer has been refunded in full.

      Worst customer service around. I pay for the service to get fixed. And they refuse.
